Still deciding. Everything is great about it just the 1/6 scale, not the scale I collect, might be a tad small for me personally. But it's very cool which is why I'm still thinking lol.

Sideshow still has a Terminator listed under coming soon. The attached photo is of the BD T-800 2.0, so it might be an error in removing it. Odd that you’re still able to RSVP for it if that is the case. Though all of the other figures including Returns 2.0 that have gone up for PO have been removed from the Coming Soon page.
Good point. Not everything needs to be big and noisy. Hmmmm leaning towards POing it. Portrait alone is tempting me. Still need some time to decide. Worse case I get it and if it's too small can easily sell it. Quality wise I have no concerns, I know hot toys will nail l it. All about the size lol
The text and background certainly give me T1 vibes as opposed to T2. The text in particular looks like T1 text.
I am hoping for some T1 love, especially for the 40th anniversary. HT's first 2 MMS figure were two T1 figs. I know PT are releasing two T1 figs both look a little bit sketchy tbh.
Maybe HT are waiting to see how pre-orders go for the DX46 before announcing anymore Terminator figs?

To my eye, the sculpt Yixie posted looks more like Arnold in the second half of T1 than it does Arnold in T2, but I’m no terminator expert.
Yeah, no, that wouldn’t be correct haha. It’s definitely intended to be T2.
Yeah exactly, that’s the T1 font which is what made me curious, nowhere on the coming soon page does it specify T2 besides the stock T-800 2.0 photo. Why would they leave it up there after throwing it up for PO weeks ago?
Having said that, I honestly dont see them giving us T1 yet. T2 is overall regarded as the best in the franchise so they’ll definitely focus on this film first. That sculpt looks more T2 without the sunnies imo.
If this is not a mistake, I believe it to be the clean
T-800 2.0 from Judgment Day. That version without a doubt is coming, the same way Returns 2.0 Keaton came directly after ‘89 2.0. They’ll wait a while but it is coming, whether that’s a year from now like Returns was, or in the coming months.
You really think the intern at Sideshow knows their s***? Lol.
I’d love T1 stuff, but I won’t hold my breath. At this point, I hope INART drops a T1 tease at WF.

It’s been so long since I’ve seen either Terminator film - the new 40th anniversary 4k restoration will be a good excuse to watch the first film again.

Burned off during the Tech Noir escape.
It’s a great narrative detail and the reason why he wears sunglasses when he visits the Police Station (which then became a signature part of the whole Arnold Terminator look that we then see in T2).
We need this guy in 1/6.. Hot Toys MMS238 was battle-damaged so technically we haven’t had a clean Police Station Shootout version in 1/6 yet.
