I wasn’t in the loop either, stumbled across it. $125 from osk and for the level detail it’s an absolute steal! Im not a big base guy but its without doubt the most detailed and impressive base Iv seen! Completely elevates the look of the predator.

Im also with you since the T-800 release I have been hoping its coming soon so well see. Really hoping for some revisions since the teaser
Going off the Returns 'reissue' I'm guessing this will be the exact same figure but with a new head sculpt.

Hope not. The Classic is wildly inaccurate to the JH, they're not even remotely similar. I sold my Classic in favor for the old JH for that reason.

I have been waiting for this announcement since 2012, you are not the only ones my friends, we are all hoping for an announcement with a new body, paint and HS.

Cmon, fellows, it's Classic 2010 repainted. It's lazy like me in the morning hangover. They even displayed it with the BD helmet from Predators with a broken eye, looool. P87 and Classic are very different, they have a different body shape, different patterns on armor. The only new things we see are plastic fork-blade, trophies and a spined skull. There was no new job done. The painting is terrible, yes, the P87 should have some green on armor, but not on every parts. This figure is sad and broken. So sad.
The saddest thing is that they had 15 years to do it.
Wolf got a new sculpt (body/face) JH is more legitimate than him. I think JH 2.0 would be great with a MMS233 head sculpt and a new body. Almost everything needs to be redone on the figure we saw this summer. But I have to admit that an accurate body paint, new helmet, new dreadlocks and MMS233 HS would be enough for me!

That's probably it, and if it is it's a real shame but I think people are having hopes because the DX46 Terminator does uses a new sculpt.
Will a new Jungle Hunter sculpt and biomask on a Classic Pred body automatically makes it the Jungle Hunter? Well, no actually. The details from the neck down of the Classic are NOT the same as the JH. Will HT or generally HT fanboys or casual collectors care? Probably not.

Robo 3, BR, T-800 BD... No way we are getting a JH pred with new head and body
If HT make a totally new, I think it's better to made it into two releases, sort of like a clean T-800 and BD, to get most profit from new mold.
A normal JH with 2 HS, masked and closed mandibles. A BD vers with dirty masked and opened mandibles. Both come with different accessories and base.
And I want those HS without interchangeable mandible, it looks bad imo and with a bit asymmetrical position.

The new samurai predator looks sick though
Indeed. I wasn't expecting to see it before the JH 2.0 but its a welcome sign that they are doing new stuff. I'm now more optimistic that we will see changes and updates to the Predator overall design when this drops
