I agree with you guys that this will be a grail piece for sure. I can't see another officially licensed piece that will top this anytime soon, especially from a final production quality and realism standpoint. None of the Sideshow pieces have done it, and I doubt whether Darkside Collectibles' one will every be released. Even if it is, it won't come close to this as far as detailing goes based on how their Returns Catwoman came out. Same with Prime1/Blitzway. I'm sure KA Kim would knock the sculpt out of the park, but I doubt it would survive the production process unless there's a Black Label or Platinum version

Yes, I'm with you on the issues regarding Prime 1 / Blitzway's lack of being able to provide a production piece that is in the same league as the prototype. I NEARLY pushed the button on purchasing their Keaton Batman / Bruce Wayne, but having seen how the cowl looks on the Batman, I decided not to get it.

Also, when you see the painted resin Bruce Wayne alongside the Silicone pieces from JND, it really stands out as being "not realistic". It's the same with the NewDreamProps 1:3 Reeve. It just doesn't have the realism to it even with a great paintjob.

Here's a good example of how NOT to take a photo! Excellent example on the left compared to horribly lit with terrible lens distortion on the right!

Here I probably agree with you.. personally I ordered Keaton Batman from them and while it is not bad it is definitely a downgrade compared to the prototype. The photos in the Prime 1 group doesn't do any favors to the statue.

It looked like Keaton on the proto and somehow he got lost on the actual piece. Maybe it is because of the photos. We will see I guess.

Luckily regarding Terminator I ordered the platinum T-800 so the quality will not change. However I would worry regarding the deluxe edition. Nothing is guaranteed over there.

Going OT for this thread, but I can't find any other in-hand photos of the Prime 1 Keaton Batman apart from the ones you've shown here csutkakoma. Have these not generally been shipped yet or are people just not wanting to show photos of them due to disappointment?

To be honest I have no idea but generally those guys in asia usually not really sharing photos to my knowledge.

I think they got REALLY close with this. Same statue, different lighting. I personally think that when this statue is on your shelf / display cabinet and is not being micro-scrutinised side-by-side with a photo of Reeve, it will look absolutely perfect.

The sculpted costume detailing is truly phenomenal. It's SO accurate and realistic looking. Even the best costume maker couldn't make a true scaled replica of the full size costume that looks as authentic as this. The way they've made it fit the form of the "body" underneath, the wrinkles, stitching, fabric weave texture, natural fit of the belt etc. Just a flawless execution of a sculpted costume that looks 100% like real fabric.

That head shot is outstanding too. I've compared it to a few high-res photos of Reeve now and they match up extremely well - even down to the skin creases / wrinkles and type of skin texturing. It's jaw dropping.

Mine was delivered earlier today😀! Won't be able to unbox it 'til I get home later tonight though😒. Excited to finally see this statue in person.

Also, fortunately i didn't run into any issues with customs like i was anticipating which is great.
That's great news both about receiving it and about not having any issues with customs! congrats! looking forward to your thoughts.

Holy crap! Well I'm happy to pull my head in - this turned out amazing!

Damn JND - they can never get their photos to do justice to their products. Every, single, time, collectors photos destroy the official JND's. Those above are in full light without any shadows as well?!!!

It sure did. Absolutely superb looking piece. I'm very thankful that I didn't go for the Sideshow PF (although I do think the cape was done a bit more accurately on the Sideshow PF).
