I take it there's been no further word on the Shinra trooper set that Walter posted photos of earlier in the year?

I think GT makes an effort to not have too many preorders open at once. Hopefully once Tifa ships (and I still think it's soon, even if this second batch of first class bodies delayed her) and their only active preorder is Noctis, we'll see some movement on other figures. Grunt Cloud seemed to be the most far along, so I'll still be a little surprised if he doesn't get produced (whereas I would be surprised if Wall Market Dress Cloud does get made), but they may decide to go with one of the figures we've only teases of, Aerith being the logical choice, but Yuna also had a full outfit already prototyped.

I’d say Star Man Tifa will be out first unless all these companies are playing chicken with each other to see how SE reacts

There's that AC Sephiroth prototype with PERS kicking about as well, would love to see that next.

Honestly I wouldn't mind if they went with a schedule of one main figure and one or two costume/body sets per year; it may be low output and long lead times but if that's what it takes to avoid SE ninjas and maintain the quality they're becoming known for, then so be it.

Not for all FF collector 😳

Impressive but looks messy and too much too look at, dunno where to start lol.

But no way I am fitting that anywhere 😅

Headsculpt looks pretty good, similar to GameToys. I think I like it more than the Dream Boat sculpt.

Yeah it's probably the best looking Cloud I've seen on any of the unlicensed statues. Joy's stuff in general seems pretty consistently good, I have their Lulu which is a great piece for the price, so I could be tempted by this.

Looks promising but I will wait until actual photo images, this looks like a render and i've seen some video reviews of Joytoy stuff and they're quite hit and miss.

Joy Station is weird in that their production quality is usually quite good, but their designs can sometimes be off. If they nail the design, their factory production is on point and will usually reproduce the prototype quite well. But if the prototype is off, then the whole thing will look wonky.

Their pricing tends to be pretty good though for 1/4 scale resin.

Yeah their prices are very reasonable, I was tempted on the Tidus that was only $299 on FNC. But decided not to in the end as his face proportions looked abit wonky, the Lulu and Auron looked great tho.

Yeah unfortunately that Tidus was the roughest one they've attempted. It improved a bit between prototype and final product, which is at least something, but the likeness was still off by the end. Now that Solar Studios has delayed their Tidus even further, Joy Station is still the best source for a full FFX line.

On the GT Cloud (game version) do the ankles peg directly into the boots? I need to undress him and wash the pants but I don’t wanna break something.

What I do like about Joy station is that they're active with the community and have a good FB page showing constant updates, wish more companies were like that.

Agreed. I have their FFXVI Clive on preorder with them, not because it's a perfect likeness, but because it's probably the only Clive we're gonna get 😭
