I think leg extenders might actually make the proportions more accurate considering how long everyone's legs are in ff7. All things considered, I think she will probably look best with the cloak covering most of her body...

On a separate note, found a video of the Longshan Tifa. Not sure if this means anything with regards to restrictions of 3rd party releases.

I think it's the best version of Tifa that has actually come out.

But it is extremely dumb that they just sewed some black fabric to the edges of the tank top instead of layering a white tank on a black tank, so you can clearly see her skin through the sheer white fabric.

I've certainly seen worse, but I think gametoys really raised the bar and made me more critical. it's both a blessing and a curse. I want to get other figures, but they look like cosplayers next to cloud

When I used to work at prime 1, I would always track preorder numbers through the first week. Female characters always outsold male characters by a huge amount, and not even oversexualized versions.

I imagine it's the same for other manufacturers as well. Prolly cuz people are willing to buy waifus of series they aren't even fans of.

Me personally, if I did a list of my favourite video game / comic book or movie characters. The majority would be female characters so I see your point.

Considering the hair comes apart anyway to access the eyes, it’s kind of a shame they didn’t include a more neutrally posed back hair piece in addition to the action pose one. Would’ve been more tempting with the simpler hair option I think.

Yea but just like Splin3r mentioned, the sculpter and painter seem to be different people so I'm not sure if/how they are taking orders.

There were a few inquiries about ordering it in the fb group and people linked the sculpter's dm

I think I'm in. It's the first FF7 item I've ordered to actually release since joining this forum. So, finally, something. It isn't likely to be the best release, but, it seems ok from the limited video we have. (Thanks FilthyCasual for sharing )

(Edit: Oops, I was wrong. Technically, the 1/4th FA Studios Tifa statue released recently, so that was the first release for me. I preordered that dang thing and of course the release was a big controversy. Still haven't decided whether or not to go through with that one since there's "allegedly" a new sculpt coming.)
