So we never got the donut head back in the day right? It was only the reforming split head with the eyes looking outward? I wish we got that Liquid Metal statue/fist holder too. Amazing first releases (minus the pleather).

The donut head came as a bonus head with the Sarah Connor/T-1000 release. MMS125

I wonder what is going on with InArt and this license...?

Real coiffed T-1000 hair would be the schnizzel!
They would probably tackle T1 if anything. New Police Shootout T800? Maybe an Endo? Kyle Reese and Sarah Conner. Still surprised Hot Toys never did those.

The sculpted ripple effect on the skin is really nicely done. Feels so organic and gooey.

I cant see much difference with the biker cop look to my current T-1000 fig tbh.

Obviously without the helmet and shades on its a different story.

I wont be buying multiples of the T-1000 this time. Maybe an extra 2.0 regular head. Although I can see that costing a bit.:exactly:

I wonder how this looks size wise with the older version, since I have so many variants of those it would be nice if all I needed was changing the sculpt. Though I’m guessing the body might be more realistic compared to those older hot toys style ones😄

Everything should be better -- sculpt, body, stitching, details on the accessories, badge, helmet, everything.

Back in the day, didn't we have to use a silver pen to make the silver look glossy and, like, mercury?

I didn't even know that. I started to walk away from McFarlane when he released The Godfather which was slightly smaller in scale wit the new clamshell which I did not like. They started to use that new packaging with their sports line with noticable downgrades to sculpt and paint. I have not purchased a McFarlane figure since then.
20 years ago, Mcfarlane sculpts and paints were so much better at 1/2 the price.

I have a James Hetfield figure from 2001 that looks better than most of their stuff nowadays.

Same for their Tortured Souls line. Way ahead of its time, and complete works of art.

Are there any released HT figures with moving eyes already? Curious to know how they work; is it full 360 degree movement (can the pupils get turned all the way around and lost lol), are they just moved with your finger, can the paint work on the eye get scratched when doing so etc?

Almost every Hot Toys figure includes moving eyes now. Controlled by joysticks from the back or underside with your finger or by using the included tool. No risk of scratching. Watch any recent release video to see how it’s done.
