Clayface is the first villain I've bought from the ol Kenner animated series.. that squishy body, brings me back to the good ol times.. the 90's.

I still love the old Kenner Clayface. That squishy body held up really well, no degradation at all
(unlike Freeze’s squishy water container, which has turned into a sticky mess)

That’s a really good point.
Their Batman and Catwoman really are in desperate need of a 2.0, and I’d also love them to rerelease Joker and Freeze with a different paint app/cel shading that aligns with the style of the later releases. But Bats and Cats are most in need of a redo.

Hopefully the Clayface material is long lasting and won’t materialize over time.

I noticed on the MadHatter video that it appears to be some type of flexible material.

Kinda. It was the exact same sculpt as their original figure, except for a slightly re-sculpted/heightened torso. So they only adjusted his height. Everything else is exactly the same as previously. But sadly, the proportions look a little weird because of it.

Batman could definitely use a complete re-sculpt. Especially since Alex, who has sculpted a few of the newer Mondo figures, showed off a BTAS Batman model on his IG page years ago that looked perfect.

Catwoman could also very much use a complete re-sculpt.

I really dislike the stands the Mondo includes with the figures, what ones are better for the figures? I have heard the Play Arts Kai Final Fantasy ones are good but has anyone used these for Mondo 1/6?

I still like to use these oval stands often - they’re boring but they’re cheap, take up minimal space and are reliable.

Yes, very reliable. And I feel like because they're so basic, they kinda fade into the background and show the figures off better.

Remember Scarecrow on display at NYCC with what we assumed to be a complete set of accessories, but then the PO included his grim reaper pocket watch which we hadn't seen before? Although Mondo leaves little to be desired with their Clayface, if they're saving a surprise accessory for the PO I hope it’s a jar of Roland Daggett’s Renuyu cream.

Can anyone confirm which part of the Limited Batman Beyond release will be limited? Or do we not know until the Standard goes up?
I am very late to this party but with Batman Beyond and Clayface coming down the line, I am hopping on.

Mondo havent yet confirmed when the standard Batman Beyond will be going up for sale or what accessories will be removed from the original release - so far the only news on it was them saying on X that a regular edition would be coming at some point
