1/6 Batman: TAS figures coming from Mondo...

My God, my gaaaaaawwwd Clayface looks absolutely incredible. The LE is going to sell out so fast. This is one that even people who don’t collect the line or any 1/6 will purchase.

Mad Hatter booth tour (and gets to pose the figure to show off the joints etc) - the Batman from the chest is a magnet piece to attach to Clayface's body


They confirm there will be limited and regular editions but are still deciding what will be with the limited version

That's the perfect Clayface figure.

Clayface is the first villain I've bought from the ol Kenner animated series.. that squishy body, brings me back to the good ol times.. the 90's.
JUST LET ME PREORDER IT NOW!!

I still love the old Kenner Clayface. That squishy body held up really well, no degradation at all
(unlike Freeze’s squishy water container, which has turned into a sticky mess)

That Batman sculpt has me really wanting to see what their current team could do with an actual 2.0. They nailed it…

That’s a really good point.
Their Batman and Catwoman really are in desperate need of a 2.0, and I’d also love them to rerelease Joker and Freeze with a different paint app/cel shading that aligns with the style of the later releases. But Bats and Cats are most in need of a redo.

If they redo Bats, I’ll get it. Kinda regret not getting the Phantasm with the Andrea sculpt.

Was the Redux not a 2.0?

I bought 2 Phantasms so that I could also display the Andrea torso/sculpt.

Hopefully the Clayface material is long lasting and won’t materialize over time.

I noticed on the MadHatter video that it appears to be some type of flexible material.

Kinda. It was the exact same sculpt as their original figure, except for a slightly re-sculpted/heightened torso. So they only adjusted his height. Everything else is exactly the same as previously. But sadly, the proportions look a little weird because of it.

Batman could definitely use a complete re-sculpt. Especially since Alex, who has sculpted a few of the newer Mondo figures, showed off a BTAS Batman model on his IG page years ago that looked perfect.

Catwoman could also very much use a complete re-sculpt.
