Look, I’m only strictly talking figure design and I personally don’t compare them in terms of output since they’re at a different stage. Of course, Hot Toys have figured it out, they’ve been around for 2 decades plus.Inart can’t even do 5/6 figures a year without having issues.
By the time they do 80+ figures a year I’m sure they’ll get a pass every now and then as well.
Also you keep insisting that Inart is great at costuming and details, but they have multiple figures with missing/wrong details in the costuming.
Anyway way back to this figure, sculpt is almost there. Some shots are excellent and some less so. Close ups seem puffy, maybe focal length? Might look better in hand. HT have released some pretty great sculpts recently so I have faith.
These are just my opinions and observations: in general, overall and despite the inaccuracies INART figures have, they do get more right with each respective design and nail more details, realism, natural proportions and tailoring, etc. They would do a better job with this Cap costume design, imo. INART figures make my Hot Toys figures look like more toy-ish.
Anyhoo.
I think the current prototype leaves a lot to be desired. With the unhelmeted sculpt, the hair could’ve been sculpted better to match the film. The costume in general has a lot of room for improvement.
