Kinda yes scale wise and it depends tbh. I think it was the figma guts last year thst had folks complaining it was a bit weak in the joints?

Improved on the reissue.
The Heat of Passion version is a better figure for forgoing the pouches etc.

Just a little freaky
The SH Figuarts Guts from a year or two ago looked like a loose, long-armed tragedy. The Figma are generally very good quality, but follow the movie designs. I'm not into them as much anymore, but I found SH Figuarts has been on a downward trend in terms of quality the last few years.
I'm super excited about this Christmas Eve delivery! Griever Studios Guts painted by LyAction. The sculpt and paintwork look fantastic in person. It's always great to see how much Ryo's painting improves year after year. The simulation of sub surface scattering on the ears, nose and cheeks look so good. There are even some subtle hints of blue that give the suggestion of veins under the skin. I'm absolutely in love with this sculpt and painting.

I agree, mine arrived last week and it really is stunning, probably one of the best Guts sculpts out there, not overly realistic or stylised, just has the right level of simplicity to match the Manga style with his own spin.
