The smiling sculpt was never gonna look good. They would have to redo it but they never do rescupts.

I wish they’d get someone to make the suit lay right so we’d have a better idea on these things. Though I’m eagerly awaiting to see collectors get these in hand to really show the potential + how everyone decides to use different parts.
For the price point I ain't impressed. We'll reserve judgement until see high quality.

So I dunno wtf that unboxing stream was, yapped for 2 hrs and barely showed the figure. Couldn't get any real good shots of him like they were trying to hide it or something.

I think the hair styling is making it look weird. His hair was to the side but the top ran different directions. Proper styling might help it. Also the face paint looks a little soft
I don't know if there are parts from this I would like to use. But I'm definitely not sold on the entire package.
The lapel tips look about as high as all the other coats, though. Too close to the top of the shoulder.

The sculpt looks great if you isolate the portrait from the hair. The hair is done well, but the styling looks like it needs to be changed quite a bit. If it were styled better from those pics it would come off stronger.

I love the technology, quality and innovation JND put into this, if they keep trucking in this direction they will blow the competition out of the water they are leaps ahead in many areas now.
That said, after watching this I am happy I snagged a HT artisan figure, especially seeing the price differences.
Now if JND were to put these technologies into say a 1:6 scale Aliens queen or a diecast Sauron, we're talking serious will to conduct molestation of my wallet.
