I love NECA's Universal Monsters line. I have been doing this so long though, I remember the prices I used to be able to purchase things for....vs. now. Now is really expensive, lol.
Yes, it's been saturated. However, I have a distinct feeling I may cave on this one. At least the figure. I come back to this thread and stare at the pictures often. Fortunately it's Schrödinger's Cat at the moment. Not pre ordered, yet pre-ordered in my mind simultaneously, until the actual date of order appears, lol. I wish I had more resolve when it comes to Karloff and Lugosi in their signature roles. I won't even feign any hesitation with Wolfman though. He's bought the second its able to be.I've kind of settled in the same place you are in regard to this figure. Those diorama pieces look like they're going to add quite a bit cost-wise, and if I'm honest... I'm kind of "played out" on Karloff's Frankenstein. Don't get me wrong - he'll always be among my top 3 interpretations of the creature - it's just his image been everywhere for nearly 100 years, and I guess I'm just getting a little tired of it?
I take it the “UM” in your username doesn’t stand for “Universal Monsters” then. This will be the first and possibly only horror figure in my collection that mostly consists of all versions of Batman & Superman with their related characters/vehicles, the core Star Wars original trilogy (mainly A New Hope & Empire) characters and some pop icons (MJ & Prince). I'm not sure where I will display Frankenstein in my display (likely all on his own), but this figure is too incredible to pass up if the production version looks this awesome. I may add Bride of Frankenstein and/or Wolfman to him if they are this good. I am trying to resist the Bela Lugosi Dracula, but the temptation is strong. With all that said, I am not a fan of these original monster movies, but I am looking forward to this figure as much or more than anything I own or have on pre-order. When I vision Frankenstein, this has always been him.

You're trying to resist...Bela Lugosi...AS DRACULA? Well, best of luck, lol.I am trying to resist the Bela Lugosi Dracula, but the temptation is strong.
