Yesterday got two of my grails:blissy both sealed and mint condition, well given the age, the body suit wants to fall apart if I just look at it wrong :lol

Thought I'd share my latest addition, just got the cold war and snake camo ver. Sold most of my collection a long time ago due to personal reasons.

Have been slowly getting my collection back for a couple of years now. Never had these two before though.

Does anyone know if the cold war ver. uses different material for the body suit?

It feels different and looks the best of the group when it comes to condition. I got all of them new but the other 3 are showing their age, especially when looking at them up close but cold war ver. feels as if it was released this year.

What a coincidence - the Squares Camo and Cold War ver. are the ones I'm missing (guess you're ahead of me, since you just bought them).

It wouldn't surprise me if Cold War Snake uses a different under-suit, since it was released several years after the original releases. Or, maybe it was just stored in better conditions to prevent dry rot.

Oddly, the pleather on my Croc Cap Snake that I bought in 2009 is holding up well (no degradation, whatsoever). But, the Tiger Stripe that I bought new from Japan a few years ago has been flaking out of the box.

It definitely feels like it uses different material for it. And there are some subtle 'updates' to that figure. For example the shirt fits just a bit better, harness is slightly better fitting and there is no 'bump' in the chest area as the other 3 figures have.

It did come out almost 5 years, I think, after the original releases so wouldn't surprise me if they decided to fix those issues. I mean other than the under-suit issue the rest is just tweaks to things that were perfectly fine in the first 3 releases.

Just as your Tiger Stripe, mine is the best condition among the 3 but it's only visible upon closer inspection. I hope it stays like that, I certainly won't be reposing any of them. Feels like that would defiantly do some damage.

I took some close up photos of the under-suit on Snake camo and Cold War. Rot on Snake camo looks much worse on camera than in person but in photo you can see it looks like different materials between the two. Even the stitching is different.
