Thought about pulling the pants further down as well. Thing is Nate already has a long torso - which is absolutely game accurate btw so kudos to LIM for making a special body to replicate his unique physique - but pulling the pants further down would also pull the crotch down further which would in turn make the torso seem even longer... so not ideal.

If there are ankle extenders on the figure, might be better to remove those.

Hope that's the case. Then it would be a really easy fix for an otherwise incredible figure!

@R_R_X Is it really just you five over at Lim? 😲
Or do the others just not prefer to have their names on the box?

I did notice the pants' length and overall cut. The slimne of them is accurate to the game design, however they are too short. The in-game render covers more of the boots. I have a similar pair on-hand that I may end up swapping out once the figure arrives, just to give them a little more coverage over the boots. We'll see. It's a minor nit, but it does draw the eye.

I agree. It definitely does get your attention and I do hope the fix is easier.

As you may know, the Chinese BBICN forum is a tough crowd to please. They don't hold back and it can get as savage as this place was under Dave.

However, the first unboxing thread has been very positive so far.

The strangest and least positive take was this:

The doll looks OK, but the base is too different from DAM/HT

:dunno

Maybe they were hoping for one of those HT sand bases with the footprints in it?

:lol

Speaking of bases Lim's are among the most interesting from any company.

Consider how little effort Sideshow put into theirs. Similar size and shape, but just plain black plastic. If you're lucky they'll give you a terrain piece to butt up against it.

Lim's Arthur base is one of my favourites, because that little campfire is so compact, yet so evocative of a scene.

Nathan's base is next level with the element of depth created by the treasure seen though the deck grill.

The Last of Us base will be another detailed one, though I'll give nothing away.

Connor's is elaborate, though I have no idea what it denotes as I know nothing of the game.

I will say that I like the round stands from DAM and (due to the DAM Assassin's Creed figures) I do like my video game figures to have the round bases to have some cohesiveness

Maybe that's what they meant.

VTS/DAM have done some nice bases at times that are generically useful, except for their silly choice of name for the plaque as with their Black Mask, which they called Black Skull rather than just leaving it blank or hiding a sticker in the box that you could apply yourself:

Yup, I agree with that. It definitely is annoying when companies do that. That's why I get new metal nameplates from Cro.Customs. He did all my Assassin's Creed ones so they can all look similar as well as the one for my custom Nate. Next will be one for Kratos for the OneToys/Worldbox figure. It's an added expense I don't like but my OCD would drive me nuts with the wrong name on there

Really awesome that Lim didn't do that with this figure and was brave enough to give us all the right logos and names inside the box and on the base.

It really is annoying, and I always ask myself why they go to the bother of doing it at all.

The extra mile, and then some!

I've seen people posting in different places assuming that it's a licensed product because all the signs of it being so are there, bar the all important one!

Y’all couldn’t find anything else and now complaining about pants length? :monkey4 :violin:hammerhead:
(Dramatic violin solo plays)
I mean if we are finally getting a Nate after so many years we all want a good accurate figure. It wasn't to much to ask to have the pants added length, but again it's not a deal breaker just something some of us wished was changed. If changing boot pegs help then maybe it'll help but we'll see.
