These are the "new" suits which were fabric. I'm not talking about Shin cause those are also leather lol
That's true. Probably because of their low budget and move-ability, all the early rider suits were lycra and fabric.
Medicom used mixed versions - some fabric, some pleather.
Personally I don't mind thin genuine leather since it looks better. Fabric will catch dirt and stain easily especially in black color.
I think there were a multiple versions of suit for both No1 and No2.
Very original versions were leather for few episodes, but suits were damaged too easily in the filming and bike scenes, they switched to elastic lyca fabric.

Yeah that makes sense.
yeah this is what happened. but in the "lore" it's supposed to be leather. I'm just glad HT actually weathered these nicely, the cheap nasty looking props are apart of the charm

I'm hoping the line does well, and we get kind of a rotating Showa/ Heisei/ Reiwa release schedule. W was the first Rider show I watched, and they're still my favorite and it'd be great to options besides the RAH series.

Hoping they do more for sure. With S.I.C. dead and the Movie Realization line at Bandai vassalized by a mouseborne parasite, it would be exciting to have a new Rider line to get into. If they keep going, my guess is V3 will be next and Amazon, Black, Kuuga, and W are possibilities. Those seem to be the most popular series, which is all I see HT touching. Personally, I'd love to see ZO, but Soosoo would be the only hope for that. If HT have a broader licensing agreement with Toei, maybe we'll see a Kikaider? That'd be sick with built in lights.
Does Threezero have the full Super Sentai license, or just Power Rangers? Would love the full Gorenger team next to some Showa Riders.

Pretty sure it's just Power Rangers as part of their deal with Hasbro, since they're also doing GI Joe and Transformers.
It seems like Hot Toys is branching out to other globally popular IPs since DC, Marvel, and Star Wars are less stable than they had been in the past. That's why we're getting James Bond and Kamen Rider, and Kamen Rider has the potential to be as deep as the Star Wars line if it does well. There's 30-something main Riders at least and tons of secondary Riders, plus power up forms, villains, and human forms they could do. The main target for this is probably Asia, but since Kamen Rider is better known in the west now, it's probably a good IP to take advantage of. I'll just be glad to have an alternative to RAH.
old rider hype is long gone now. my medicoms still on sale nobody wants them.

For me, it's more that RAH haven't made an effort to improve their quality and have a bad reputation for falling apart that's kept me from buying them.
yes but you cant find alternatives apart from Black series by 3rd parties. esp their human forms.
