Well I already ordered the Battle Damaged version, do I need this version along side it?.......

Yes.

I might get 3, bc HyperDrive is getting two. :violin

How that “head hole” is installed? I see no alternative sculpt or seam in the hair.
Overall I love the figure but there’s something off can’t really tell what. Still iconic.
If it's anything like the DX10, it's just a piece of the hair that comes out.

This looks off. Can't tell if it's Elvis impersonating the Terminator or Dolph Lundgren. The BD Terminator craps all over this.

I don't think I chose the best photo but yes the look was rather terrible on this figurine. With glasses it's much better.
This new figure is definitely a big upgrade to what we’ve gotten in the past. I’m actually really happy with how this looks. The moment the PO is up on Sugo toys I’m buying it

purchase for me too, I want to bundle T-800 (Clean and Battle Damaged)+ T-1000.
Waiting for JH 2.0, isn't it buddy? ;)

Well, it ****s all over Present Toys, I'll say that.

If you don't have any previous clean T2 Arnie this one does render all previous figures obsolete and is thus the one to get. They even included DX10's chip in the head feature, I wasn't expecting that. It's a great overall package. You get everything that came with MMS117 and DX10 combined even if some of those things should have been improved upon and seemingly haven't been. Wor Gar frightened me when he said 'no grenade launcher' - meaning the teargas launcher. For a second I thought that meant they had decided not to include the Hawk mm1 afterall - but I see it's with the BD figure.

The headsculpt seems to be the same one we've been seeing at various shows? Someone mentioned they thought his jaw was too thin but I suspect it's more that his face is bloating outwards from the cheekbones up, just like DX13 in that regard. I think his features are within acceptable parameters to my eyes but the external shape/silhouette is something they always have problems with.

I wish we could get a full-on sideview of the sculpt. I want to know if it has the usual inaccurate cranial mass at the back that they've been giving him since DX10. Another nit on DX10 - and yet for me quite bothersome - is the way they make his hair curl right under his ears. I think DX13 had the same thing, maybe to a lesser degree. But you should be able to see skin behind and under the ears! Unless it's a really long hairstyle, which Arnie's wasn't, it doesn't look right. Some people will laugh at that but I'm deadly serious, little things like that can add up to an overall inaccurate likeness.

Then of course is the matter of ugly gaps due to the separated head and neck. They were pretty awful on DX10, and DX13 wasn't a great deal better in this area. If they're going to insist on the joint in the head I wish they'd at least do as good a job as NECA and make sure the head can move without exposing noticeable gaps in one place or another. It is possible. There'd be a 'line' of separation no matter what but actual gaps shouldn't be a thing on a high-end figure purporting to be about hyper-realism.

Hard to tell with the angles they provided what exactly we're dealing with here though in terms of the above.

I mentioned the figure coming with things that should have been improved rather than simply rereleased as they were from the previous figures - the grenades are the same undersized and probably wrong shape grenades they've put out since DX10. It has always detracted from the Cyberdyne look with how small and close together the grenades are in the bandolier. As always I think it's because they want the grenades to be insertable into the M79 but unfortunately that makes them inaccurate to what you actually see in the movie. And once again it seems to be a generic mini-gun, missing a little feature the T2 one had near where the ammo chain goes into the gun. I'm no expert on weapons but this is something that P. has pointed out in the past and it seems they haven't bothered to correct it here either.
Then there's the endoskeleton arm - it seems to be the very same one that came with MMS117? Which is anatomically too long and has the weird thumb orientation. In 2025 we're still not going to change anything anything about the old endoskeleton sculpts? OK. I guess to correct the length issue they'd have to shrink it overall to keep the parts in proportion - and when you're talking about parts that are supposed to move - fingers and pistons - that would increase the fragility of what is already a fragile piece....so maybe I can understand.

People have mentioned the sunglasses - yeah there's too extreme of a V shape over the nose from what I can tell and it's making them look a bit Dame Edna. A lot of us might be taking the glasses from DX10 to use on this figure.

Anyway, I'll stop here for now.

I'll definitely be preordering one. And, on release, if I were to find myself sufficiently enamoured with it, who knows.
