The Bruce Lee films end scenes :

-Big Boss vs Lee (who hasn't dreamed of beating up their boss like that :lol
-Suzuki vs Lee (also the jump at the end , the definition of a classic scene)
-Norris vs Lee (final scene takes place at a cemetary , Lee died just 7 months later)
-Han vs Lee (the scene itself + Schifrins music = epic)

Very similar films with very similar endings. Both make me weep openly…
E.T. and Starman. Those closeups on Henry Thomas and Karen Allen respectively are beautiful. The scores are amazing.
Return of the King… I could sit through 10 closing sequences. I didn’t want to leave Middle Earth.
Raiders and Gremlins. Beautiful matte paintings and a sense of mystery about the wonderous encounters we’ve just had.
Speaking of encounters…CE3K. The mothership. The Williams score incorporating “When You Wish Upon A Star”. Magical.
The Matrix. Shoulda left it there.
Aliens. Shoulda left it there.
Terminator 2….
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade…..
Deadpool 2. “If I Could Turn Back Time”. The Ferris Bueller parody “It’s over….go home”
The actual Ferris Bueller ending, from Ed Rooney on the bus/ “Oh Yeah” to “It’s over…go home”.
Back To The Future. That DeLorean shot….damn.

There are so many It's virtually impossible to pick just one, but there's an alternate ending to "28 Days Later" which was deemed too depressing by test audiences and got exchanged for a more upbeat conclusion. I've always wanted to see that movie with its original finale intact...
