I bought the BEGINS Batman one back in 2005 and it was terrible. I think their TDK Joker is pretty good, and I've been told it is as well. So I may pick that one up.

Well really it's the act of A PHYSICAL deformity that ultimately sets the Joker off. In some forms of the comics it's his skin being bleached. In TDK's realistic take, it can be rightfully assumed that the physical disfigurment of his mouth being cut open is what ultimately sets him off...

The reason I think Heath licks his lips alot in the film is that in the script and in the movie Joker is very much described as a "mad dog", "a dog chasing cars" and at least my perception based off some short interviews I heard him talking about the character the licking of the chops represents...

Definetely, man. The Batman theme kicks in with those beating war drums. Ahhh such an awesome film. I cannot wait for the DVD. I told myself I wouldn't see it anymore (standing at 4 times) until the dvd comes out.

I felt like a kid again with that scene. All hell is breaking loose, you FEEL the danger for Harvey, then the Batmobile lights appear down at the end of the road after we had assumed Bruce hung up the mantle. Heading full speed at the garbage truck and semi. WHAM takes out the garbage truck...

Crappy movie, crappy actors, corny / cheesy overdone psuedo Bat-film. But yes, that image was easily the highlight of that feature.
