You can try the method that I posted earlier. It is quite easy and fun. Think of it this way , there is no way you can do a worst job than the original !!! Trust me ! :cool:

I used Tamiya --- Wooden Deck Tan spray paint TS-68 for the overall base colour of the whole head sculpt . I usually use this colour as the base of flesh . My approach would be trying to mimic the structure of the object that gives out the colour. In this case, what makes up the face hugger's...

Will have to do that tomorrow night, ar...I mean tonight. 'cause right now is 2:00 in the morning here in Hong Kong ............ :monkey4

Just spent about 2 hours and get this "SUCKER" repainted . May need some touch up on the hair ends a bit later , cause my eyes are quite tired now. :google

No, the facehugged head is different from Palisades'. The shape of the joints on the body is different and the details are softer on HT's. The HT one needs a repaint BADLY !!! :mad:

That's exactly how I feel ! :monkey4 The normal head paint was directed by JC Hong. That's why it looks so great. And for the hugged head, looks like it was done by a totally different line.........:monkey2

There is a molded clear cover going over the foam tray, keeping things where they should be ,so I don't think there is a issue of paint rubbing . No need to thank me , glad that you find the info useful ! :joy

But I would suggest to repaint the hugged head sculpt to make it look better . :cool:

It is finally here ! Just took some quick pictures showing what everyone should be interested in. The packing is like Dallas , with outer box jacket that looks like the helmet , except there is a HOLE at the visor area . And main box cover showing a FACEHUGGED Kane instead . Clever!!! The head...

The first impression I have for this Kane head sculpt is Burce Campbell ! Hmmm...... is this a forecast of something "EVIL" is coming our way ?!?

Actually Aoshima did make 8 inch action figure Dallas and Kane in Nostromo suit a few years back. Picture from aliencollection

Speaking of Kane's face hugged head , where does the headpiece go? He was wearing it before he was hugged , just like Dallas. Could not remember if Kane was still wearing the headpiece when his helmet was cut in half . May be it is one of those movie glitch .........:confused:
