    Sandtroopers and dewbacks

Thanks, guys. Glad you liked the work. I had fun putting them together, and they make great subjects for photographing. They don't move around a whole lot and can maintain the same expression for quite a while. Dorgmal, thanks for the photo posting tips. I'll give that a go the next time I...

    Sandtroopers and dewbacks

Those are nice, Chakaman. Very well done. I need to redo the dirt paint apps on my Sideshow troopers. Hopefully then they'd look as good as yours. I'd probably gain a better appreciation for their armor then as well. I just don't like how it sits all loose on the skinny trooper bodies they...

    Sandtroopers and dewbacks

Thanks a bunch Barryo and Dorgmal. The Sandtroopers are pretty much my SW hobby focus so customizing some of them has been a lot of fun. Yeah, the Marmits are great. The helmet is just the best there is in the 1/6 scale arena. The rest of the armor is outstanding as well. But I like the...

    Sandtroopers and dewbacks

Thanks, C'Bob. I'm excited to get to put it together finally so I can show him. Can't have him thinking I didn't appreciate the gift... even if it is years after the fact.

    Sandtroopers and dewbacks

Had a couple of troopers I recently finished... well, for the most part. Wanted to see what you guys thought. They're a Marmit armor/Sideshow body and head mix with bits from Hasbro and Dragon. Found much of what I used at Toy Anxiety and War Toys. When the GI Joe bad guys came out, I...

    Jawa - Hasbro rework

Got a few more pieces, so I figured I'd add to the storyline. These go right before the ones I already posted... A couple of friends were building a custom scale sandcrawler in their kitchen when they decided that they needed cool ground effects lighting to make it even more better...

    Jawa - Hasbro rework

Hey, if I could do it, I'm certain anyone can. Just took a hobby knife, some spare ankle joints for the elbow and knee articulation, leather bits and pieces from various figs, and a few darker color acrylic paints. And since jawas were a ragtag group, you have a lot of artistic license...

    1/6th imperial troop transport

Yeah, that Xwing he's got going on is insane. His skills are enviable, to say the least. Continually impressed. And thanks again for the update pics on your project. Very cool to see your guys' work in progress pictures.

    1-6th X-wing

Re: 1-6th X-wing project Holy crow!!! This thing is awesome. Being a new guy around here, I feel like I just remembered it was show and tell day at school, and picked up a leaf I found on the playground on the way in. This will impress them.

    1/6th imperial troop transport

Perfect example of the talent found on these boards. My absolute favorite SW toy while I was growing up. Would play with the thing all day long, pushing the various sound and phrase buttons. Cannot wait to see the end product. Keep it up.

    Jawa - Hasbro rework

Because you asked... a little bit more of my Jawas' misadventure. This predates the last scene by a few minutes. Added a couple touches of gold metallic paint to the bandoliers. Thanks again.

    Jawa - Hasbro rework

Thanks for the encouragement, much appreciated. Not nearly as involved as a lot of the cooler things I see you guys do here, but a bunch of fun nonetheless.

    Jawa - Hasbro rework

Here's my take on the jawas and an off screen encounter with the law during the Tatooine/Mos Eisley droid search. Thanks for all the ideas and pictures you guys posted earlier.

    Jawa - Hasbro rework

I love your jawas. I've got a couple at home and have been meaning to do something just that with mine. What kind of paint did you use on the bandoliers? They look great.

    Sandtroopers and dewbacks

Sounds good. Whenever you're ready I'll be here. Looks like there might be a few of us anxious to get some. I'd take 5-6 myself. Thanks a bunch!

    Sandtroopers and dewbacks

Hey Vivisect, Glad to hear you might be making some of these. How far off are you from making some, and what do you think the price would be? Thank you much.

    Sandtroopers and dewbacks

Really enjoying the pics you guys have posted. Has anyone here made custom pauldrons for their sandtroopers? I've been trying my darndest to round up some extra Sideshow ones to customize my Marmits but haven't had much luck. Would like to see what others have done if they've made their...
