Be careful with comparisons like that. The focal length and lens type are completely different on those photos so it will never compare favourably. I did a similar comparison with a screencap from the video where the camera was further away and the proportions of everything match up much better...

I personally think that it has been tweaked. His mouth in particular looks wider and the eyes appear more open. I don't know for sure but I do know that I prefer the final one on the right.

You're going to love the whip from Joe. It's mind boggling how he's managed to scale down the construction technique of the full size whips into 1:3 scale. Amazing craftsmanship

I can put you in touch with Joe Strain who made a PHENOMENALLY accurate 1:3 scale bullwhip for my intended upgrade to the JND statue to turn it into a Raiders version as best I can. There's photos of it earlier in this thread.

The October date is referring to the Wonder Fest date which is presumably where they will be showing the statue in person. James definitely said next week on his livestream regarding the unboxing video so let's hope they stick to that as it makes perfect sense due to it being Chris Reeve's...

Tough call to make for sure. Hold out for "something better", or miss out on this truly superb effort at 1/3 scale. The costume sculpting and physical proportions to match Reeve's physique will not be beaten in my opinion. I've seen many attempts over the years, but nothing has come anywhere...

Well that's awesome! Glad I stuck it out in that case. I'll be really interested to see in person how the Clark and Superman compare when viewed right next to each other. I got mine from an approved retailer so I guess I'll be waiting for a while until JND has shipped out all the direct orders...

I don't think there's too much difference between this and the re-order version. I'm not really seeing much of version 1 in here though - It's the re-order version which has been refined a bit more (which is what JND say they will aim to do with all of their production versions anyway - as seen...

Absolutely outstanding achievement in sculpting and craftsmanship. Not meaning to go off topic (but going anyway), seeing these head shots of the beautiful work they've done on this makes me hope that we'll see them tackle a Lynda Carter Wonder Woman at some point.
