Based in the work the customizers did - and HT over the years, suspect the proto was painted by an expert, not the production line. So you get downgrades in shading etc. Nothing wrong with the Standard at least you don't risk the &^%$ hair problem out of the box, tho seems folks on this forum...

Never took my scout out of the box, I just wanted the bike. If it's a problem I'll try the dilute bleach solution - and check whatever padding they used.

IMO as a "premium" depending on what Inart definition of "premium" is, Gimli would cost even more than Thorin. Gimli also has full hair with braids. Then there's the "real" chain mail which would be pretty involved to do it screen accurate. If InArt wants to top ASMUS they will need 5 diecast...
