Man I hate these "deluxe but not really" editions. Just make deluxe have everything, hate having to figure it all out. This is worse than HT with their bases.

The versions are confusing. They make it seem like you get 2 sculpts in the deluxe but you actually have to choose between the "tear" nonsense?

Not sure why anyone is saying it's slightly better painted? It's literally worse. Now it's all craggly looking almost like the white is his skin, which isn't accurate. Missing a lot of the drip details too and the paint is just generically slapped on. Hair has completely lost any green also.

Figure is waitlisted everywhere so I dunno where people will find these deals. Maybe all the waitlists are a fakeout and everyone actually has pallets of them.

Honestly who cares though, make figures like these exclusive so I don't have to stress over it. Make stuff people actually want normal releases. Since both are releasing around the same time, hoping this doesn't mean that's how the paint on the purple coat version looks because it's way less...

It's literally same sculpt diff paint. These summer exclusives often are figures they can reuse or quickly do since they're supposed to be released very quick.

Inclined to believe it is fake... I don't see why they would use that generic font when they can use the actual logo.

Honestly out-of-box hair looks better than how much people **** up the hair on these when they try to style it themselves.

The bodies are funky. Head looks too large and the shoulders are non-existant. The seamless knees are better than Inart though.

Oh yeah the HT modded looks better when you mod and futz the Inart to look worse. The unmodded shots that have been posted before look way better than that comparison.

I just bought it from hobby genki since they have the exclusive and yen is very weak. Like 90ish shipped for me since I bought two ($180 total). Only thing is you have to pay upfront. Revoltech exclusive versions tend to do well also aftermarket.

Did they say this dio will be for sale? It just seems like something just for show to me. Can't imagine the logistics on this.
