The tutorials and tips are from the kunai notes that are occasionally thrown around (the first stage has like 3 of them in the first 5 min). Also a handful of books and such are found later for lore. Game is actually a bit like an action Dark Souls in a way.
The first game has the most coherent story even if sparse.... it gets kooky after this.
Sigma 2 is still fun since the combat is pretty much the same as OG 2, just compared to original it's hard to ignore the things taken out.
Still loving the game, just gets more fun as time goes on. I'm on chapter 7 or 8 right now.
What is the consensus on the figures released so far for this game? None of them look stellar imo, the SW Ryu looks pretty good but I'm wondering, is that his look based on a costume in one of the other games? Doesn't look quite like the one in sigma.
Completed the game last night, been busy and dealing with a lot of **** lately so took awhile. But I REALLY enjoyed it. Certainly the best action slasher Ive played to date, loved the atmosphere, areas, and bosses.
I did hate that boss fight against the devil, where its basically 3 consecutive fights in a row, I tried for hours with only 3 heals because I was too lazy to go back to a muramasa statue to get more heals lol, eventually I went back and to get more heals, only took a couple tries after that.
I've started 2 Sigma, and am watching a full retrospective as I play through, but the vid I'm watching is on the original 2, I can see how downgraded 2 Sigma is compared to the original. Oh well lol, the graphics look great at least.
Xbox because its free on Game pass, though that means I could probably get it on PC, too late now thoughAre you playing Sigma 2 on PC? Modders created a mod that makes it play like the vanilla NG2 Xbox360 version with more enemies on screen, enemy types and enemy encounter placements replicated during each encounter throughout the stages, de-limbed body parts don’t disappear, enemies' health are huge sponges like in Sigma 2.
