The new mask is fantastic but the Shaw sculpt is minus the eyebrows close to Yondu level in likeness.

Yeah the helmet upgrade was a welcome surprise, after I got dx28 I considered canceling this one, so glad I waited.

This RoTJ Vader is closer to ESB Vader then the ESB figure, excluding minor details such as the chest panel differences. This chest panel does look better in hand imo. It has same body proportions as OWK Vader, I am pretty sure it is the exact same body having both in hand and does look a lot...

It's not bad by any stretch but yes, anything battle damage/jagged with details you want high quality resin/polystone.

dx28 is a straight up grail, best r1/owk vader out there with battle damage option.

Just got this in hand, after a quick look over it's my favourite HT Vader, and the most accurate OT one out there. That said, I still think the clean dx28 mask might look a little more accurate overall, the correctly sized mouth triangle beats out the improved face structure in RoTJ Vader...

They dropped the ball on material, I think outside of customs OWK or ESB cloaks are the best looking ones on the figure.

Always have at least one silica bag if you are storing materials like pleather long term in a closed up container.
