JND Studios / Kojun Works - 1/6 Girls Revolution: Yui (formerly from Shumi Arts)

I don't know guys, I'm still struggling to understand what is revolutionary about these figures/dolls.

DC Studios Bane & Deathstroke movie

Villains as anti-heroes, which this will probably be, is so passé.

    The Substance

Well, just got back from this and it's... an experience... :lol With all the (apparently) gratuitous butt shots, you'd think this was a typical male director trying to disguise his sexploitation fantasies as high art, but it's a woman director, so... The nudity is ok, nothing explicit or...

    Megalopolis (May 17, 2024)

Yeah, that was a great movie! Loved it. Might have to check if it's available somewhere.

Now that's how you make a great trailer.

RATE or REVIEW The Last Movie You Watched.

Love lies bleeding - 8/10 Great action/thriller in the vein of David Lynch. Kristen Stewart and her love interest are very good in their respective roles, as is David Franco. Ed Harris sports some eye watering hair extensions and there's plenty of gore and dream/hallucination sequences to make...

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

Figure looks absolutely fantastic to me. A very obvious upgrade compared to HT's efforts.

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

Looks amazing IMHO. I wish they would showcase a bit more of the posing possibilities to see how the suit works in more "extreme" poses.

Queen Studios / InArt to do sixth scale figures

Well, HT did bring the hobby to absolute new heights, and their output/quality/price ratio, they're still King of the Hill. It's unfortunate that in both the Alien and Predator franchises they've consistently dropped the ball.

    EXO-6 Star Trek "Voyager" Figures

Would love to see a side by side with the production piece, not to compare paint apps, but to see if the production piece is actually narrower. I always had the feeling that the sculpt had become squished in production.

Queen Studios / InArt to do sixth scale figures

I thought they just didn't have (and couldn't get) Star Wars and Marvel, but it makes sense that Hot Toys would try to block any other company of getting a foot in Disney's door... Makes me hate HT a bit more.

NECA: 1/4 Batman 1989 Michael Keaton figure

NECA could easily have a high-end division. The absolute love and attention to detail/accuracy they have for these licenses is amazing.

Queen Studios / InArt to do sixth scale figures

H.R. Giger's Big Chap alien with separate head sculpts for the original and Rambaldi versions. That's all I need. Ripley in Nostromo fatigues would be icing on the cake.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power | Amazon Prime Video - September 2, 2022

I know it's sacrilege, but I've always felt that Tolkien was pretty crap at writing. Love his ideas and world building, but his writing is sometimes a real chore to get through (and I've read The Lord of the Rings three times). Plus the fact that he never got his **** together to unify his own...

Oh wow, never knew the suit was built up that way.

    1/6 Hot Toys MMS699 & MMS700 ROTJ Darth Vader

Sideshow doesn't get enough credit for all the stuff they get right and even better than Hot Toys.

    Alien: Romulus (2024) figures

Agreed on the tail... although I have to say that the dinosaur-like tail does work well on the Resurrection and AvP aliens. Probably because they are more raptor-like in their locomotion.
