Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

I only really justify two versions of the same character if the look is different enough. For example, Bruce Wayne/Batman or Clark Kent/Superman. Two different persona and “characters” in that sense. Catwoman and then Catwoman (Battle Damage) isn’t something I see myself wanting two looks of...

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

I’m leaning towards the BD to better match with the Returns figure that will most likely be displayed with the Keaton head. 89 will be with the cowl and Joker.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Nazgul 1:6

That's unfornately the bar at the moment for a Nazgul. I haven't been a fan at all with what Asmus did with their two versions so I'm hoping INART's is up to the standard I want. A top Hot Toys quality level figure of a Nazgul is good with me if that's what we end up getting.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Nazgul 1:6

Yeah makes sense they throw this up first. Zero headsculpt or rooted hair for them to worry about. Well..besides the horse maybe. I just hope they offer the Nazgul as a standalone. Not buying a $500 horse bundle.

InArt - Harry Potter 1/6 Collectible Figure

What day did Harry go up for PO with Kit? I think I may have PO'd the second day. 05/25/2023.

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

Depends on how many they sold. I'd wager that this probably has a bigger per batch size since the only rooted hair that they did was the stupid curl. To compare, Kit said that all the Harry Potter standard editions will be completed with just one single batch. Which is due to the lower preorder...

Mondo: Spider-Man The Animated Series: Spider-Man

Funny enough, as limited as it is, this is probably the most articulated figure they've done. :lol Spidey actually has double jointed elbow and knees, which the other figures don't. I think the only thing really holding it back is the lack of proper ab articulation. Which they probably went...

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

It's literally the exact same sculpt as the prototype, outside of it getting softer through production. This is Aragorn all over again where people aren't used to seeing the sculpt beyond the dramatic lighting in the announcement photos. They adjusted nothing. Down to the suit being the exact...

Ordered the LE. Bring on Venom.

Not skipping on Venom so Spider is bought. They’re gonna look great together.

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

Really loving the proportions. Comes across natural and not like an awkwardly scaled 1/6 figure body.

    1/6 The Amazing Spider-Man Collectible Figure 2.0

It's just all sorts of wrong. They really struggle with getting the lens placement and angle right. Exactly what we saw with the Tobey figure.

    1/6 The Amazing Spider-Man Collectible Figure 2.0

Yeah this mask just isn't it. They really struggle with getting the mask to look accurate on these movie Spider-Man figures. So bizarre.

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

Proportions look great there when compared to how he actually looked. I know people had a whole list of changes that they wanted but I still think the production figure looks incredible. The only change that I wanted them to actually do is move the arm glyph up his arm. Such an simply and quick...

    1/6 The Amazing Spider-Man Collectible Figure 2.0

Something is very VERY off with the way they did the mask. Why do they have so much trouble getting that right for this character?

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

I don’t know. I rather risk it with high quality rolling eyes than production factory painted eyes atm. They can be painted as nice as they want right now but once those eye decals get placed on the factory, it’s a whole different story. That’s why I’m not even taking into consideration the...

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

The problem with the neutral sculpt, at least for me, is that the slight smirk sculpt outclasses it even in neutral poses. You can have her in a museum pose with her arms to her side and I would still prefer to display the smirk sculpt than the one with a bored/tired expression on display. It...

Nice. I hope Venom isn't too far behind.

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

Wow this looks amazing. This also unfornately furthers confirms for me that the neutral sculpt is the weakest. She looks far too bored and expressionless for it to work in any pose. Almost like she's sleepy. That slight smirk sculpt however is fantastic.

Hot Toys 1992 Batman Returns 2.0

Only reason I’d get this is to have him displayed with Jazz’s Catwoman. Picturing the ripped cowl look on this with his BD Catwoman figure would be quite nice of a display.
