I'm tempted to get that Scorponok. Headmasters was the last series of G1 I picked up as a kid but I never got any of the big guys. Scorponok did also have the advantage of being a major player in the G1 comic.

I've actually been doing the same. Lack of display space for expanding my 1/6 collection and rising prices have turned my interests back to 3.75" GI Joes and Star Wars. Went full circle.

Thanks! The black wash turned out better than expected. I'm tempted to make a third one for myself, but maybe sometime next year. I'd like to mod the model a little more and create landing gear for display along with doing a better canopy.

I noticed that the 3.75" Mandalorian doesn't seem to come with a baby Yoda at this time (which is becoming more essential as the series progresses), so I printed a couple the other day to paint and have ready beforehand. He stands about 2cm tall.

It looks like BBTS has preorders up for the TVC 3.75" Mandalorian and Cara Dune.

I got the Fans Toys Koot along with Rouge and Apache. Being all Fans Toys means they scale together well and share a similar aesthetic. I was really tempted by that nice metallic new Arcee that I think Zeta Toys put out but I'm happy with the FT collection for now.

I noticed the Fans Toys Jabber (Blurr) looks like he's out overseas or just about to release. There's several eBay auctions listing him as in stock now.

I ended up backing as well about a month ago. As it happens, I can't fit most of my 3rd party combiners in my new display cabinet and broke them down into their individual forms. Just hoping the top of a Detolf is adequate room for Unicron to stand on :)

Thanks for the tips! Have you tried any particular brand clear coats for reactions? I often use Testors, Duplicolor, or Automotive Touchup's clear coat but yesterday was my first experience with Molotow.

I'm giving it some thought to go with my MP collection, but I'm concerned he'd look too small next to Metroplex, Trypticon, and the assorted combiners I have (Armageddon, Kronos, Constructor, etc). Granted, he's taller than any of them but the scale is so far off next to the combiners.

Do what I do...save a search with eBay and tell it to email you when any new listings are put up. I've picked up a lot of hard to find items through that just by knowing when they were available.
