Yep. I used to collect sneakers and it's a similar situation. Some were stored unworn for years and then fall apart in the box or upon first wear. Then you have sneakers that were first worn a decade ago still holding up :lol It's always a risk keeping things sealed for long periods of time.

I'm considering it but at the same time feel it's too early to commit just like with the custom cape.. what if a better custom sculpt is revealed? $300+ for a placeholder:thud:

I think you mean Sideshow. They would've shut out Hot Toys long ago from the US market if Hot Toys hadn't agreed to let them be the US distributor. Sideshow is clearly intent on controlling who can enter the US market. It's in their own interest to "protect" Hot Toys from competitors...

Eh the # on queue is skewed because people use multiple devices. I had 3 devices open and closed them after securing mine. I'm sure others did the same.
