It’s not just the mouthplate though, the entire mask shape of both the DX09 & JazzInc are ridiculous.

You also see the issue with mouth plates, with that weird bright sculpt line on top of the DX09 face plate. This is our current sculpt but we are updating it and it will be better after the update."​

How deeper does dx09 go than this anyway? Looks to be an issue with the top part of the mouth plate and how it gets lit up under certain lighting conditions. Remember reading in the old dx09 thread someone shaved a bit of their mouth plate so that it goes in deeper.

That face plate is atrocious. None of the face plates or photos I've seen of of this thing look like Keaton to me yet.

Based on that comparison picture, the winner for me is MMS692. Jazzinc still looks like doodoo. It's giving me Neca vibes.

Jazzinc said on FB he was toying with the idea of making a full 89 Batman figure in addition to the accessory seating one for the batmobile. There are so many other figures they could be doing, but I'm guessing it's to fight back against Hot Toys blocking him from selling Catwoman directly in the US market, so rooting for Joost on this one.

They don't even have a rolling eye system yet though. I can't see them outdoing the Hot Toys versions in head sculpt, paint work, rolling eye features, but maybe they’ll be able to make a better smoother body suit with separated armor that people like and you could put the Hot Toys head on that. I’m personally fine with the texturing of the Hot Toys though.

That would be the only worthwhile reason to buy another IMO

I’d do the wetsuit mod if there were any quality black ones available. Hot Toys, bring on the Artisan Nicholson Joker, a modern attempt rivaling this new Keaton would be mind blowing.
