It's all personal opinion, but I think this look better than the Unreal sculpt.
Unreal sculpts never look right to me. The texture and material always looks off. I am assuming that they are 3D printed plastic and that is why the paint never looks right.
This is even more impressive when compared to the original.
This almost makes up for how badly Sideshow and Hot Toys screwed up the Endgame strikesuit release.
This looks incredible, and is completely unexpected. Instant preorder.
Now, where is my Winter Soldier 2.0?
Just noticed this has a magnetic base. Right as InArt stops doing them, Hot Toys starts.
A lot of people are about to be very unhappy when they learn how tariffs work.
Hot Toys ordered through Sideshow will probably see the price increase, but I don't know if stuff ordered through OSK will. Technically he is not an importer. He is buying them locally and shipping them out.
I have no real interest in buying this, but it really feels like we are continuing to see Hot Toys being forced to respond to InArt. Because this looks incredible.
I have two standards on order—one from SpecFiction and one from OSK—and neither has shipped yet. Meanwhile my two Aragorns have shipped.
It's almost kind of funny, because I was honestly expecting to be waiting forever on the Aragorns.
I think so. Technically, Kit isn't "importing" goods. He's buying them there and shipping them out to various locations.
But yeah, Sideshow is an importer, so they would be affected.
The fact that this is such a last minute notice of a delay, does make me wonder if there have been QC issues that lead to it.
If so, then I am more than happy to wait.
Frank Miller's later work is awful, but his work in the 80s and 90s was groundbreaking and massively influential.
The Dark Knight Returns is widely considered one of the most seminal Batman stories ever created.
