  1. Chopper Face

    JND Studios: Aragorn 1/3 Statue

Hmm, well if they can sort his face out and provide Boromir’s gauntlets, I may find my interests renewed.
  2. Chopper Face

Sideshow Cad Bane The Clone Wars Animated 1/6 Scale Figure

But the deeper they go, the longer they take to draw! Madness for a quick draw specialist. But it would look less goofy…
  3. Chopper Face

Queen Studios / InArt to do sixth scale figures

I just consider that a base that’s suitably sized to the thing standing on it. But yeah, ultimately this all means nothing.
  4. Chopper Face

Queen Studios: LOTR - Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen) 1/3 Statue

The curse of Viggo’s uncaptureable likeness continues. Their Gandalf is fantastic but Aragorn must be excellent to get me onboard. Maybe it’s for the best. I don’t have the space for statues and probably shouldn’t be blowing as much money as I currently am on collectibles as it is.
  5. Chopper Face

InArt - The Batman 1/6th Figure

What a fine compliment. Yeah, in terms of actual adjustments, it was just padding the arms and adjusting the gliders on the sticky gun holster. Everything else is pure futzing. Lots and lots of futzing. Still got two clamps on the cape just to really solidify some folds right at the top...
  6. Chopper Face

    JND Studios: Aragorn 1/3 Statue

Zero likeness. I was actually excited to get my first ever JND statue- but not if it looks like that. Aragorn is my number one guy. I have stared at that face more than I’ve looked at my own reflection and I see none of him here. Back to QS I guess. At least I’ll save a grand+ if that one turns...
  7. Chopper Face

InArt - The Batman 1/6th Figure

Here’s a quick snap with the head on (which was the last thing I added) but I’ve slightly posed him now.
  8. Chopper Face

Queen Studios / InArt to do sixth scale figures

If they left 'no stone unturned' with their 2019 Joker, he'd have come with a battle damaged red jacket and 'blood smile' sculpt for a post Murray Show look. As far as I can tell, the tiers purely relate to how many accessories come with a figure/ how large a set it is. No diorama, second...
  9. Chopper Face

Prime 1 / Blitzway: The Matrix - 1/3 Neo (Keanu Reeves)

Oo that looks pretty sweet. Wouldn’t mind seeing Blitzway take a crack at 1/6 Matrix figures.
  10. Chopper Face

Bandai S.H. Figuarts - The Lord of the Rings

Considering what’s possible in this day and age of action figures, these are embarrassing.
  11. Chopper Face

    JND Studios: Aragorn 1/3 Statue

I guess we’re still nowhere near getting to see a proto. Shockingly similar to Queen Studios’ pose except that one includes Boromir’s Vambraces and the red shirt for some reason. I’m likely to try and get one of these and if JND don’t use fabric for all the clothing, they’ve lost. I’d love...
  12. Chopper Face

Hot Toys - TMS136 - Savage Oppress 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure

Yeah, if anything the sculpted wraps seem more suited to an animated style, which is exactly what I’m after from TCW figures.
  13. Chopper Face

Hot Toys - TMS136 - Savage Oppress 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure

Splendid. Just wondering if I’d prefer fabric arm wraps.
  14. Chopper Face

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

I’ll give Hot Toys the win with their Joker but definitely can’t say their The Batman definitively beats InArt. The best I could be convinced of is a draw since both have pros and cons.
  15. Chopper Face

    1/6 Hot Toys - Batman v Superman - Batman (2.0) Collectible Figure

That’s the right choice since InArt confirmed they have no intentions of making the armory.
  16. Chopper Face

Hot Toys Bane 2.0 (The Dark Knight Rises)

https://www.collectiblesdirect.co.uk/the-dark-knight-trilogy-movie-masterpiece-action-figure-1-6-bane-31-cm.html?search=Bane Terrible price but it’s in the U.K…
  17. Chopper Face

Mars Toys - Gus Fring Breaking Bad 1/6 figure.

Pad the upper torso a lil bit and he’ll look great imo. Shoulders are just a bit too narrow for a grown man.
  18. Chopper Face

    JND/Kojun Works - 1/6 Harry Potter Line

I also prefer to see some wear and tear in all of Ron’s clothing- even if it’s not 100% screen accurate. It just makes sense for a younger sibling in a large, low income, hand-me-down style family. Maybe it was one of the few oversights from the design team- or every Weasley gets their first...
  19. Chopper Face

Mars Toys Back to the Future 1/6 Figures

Oh crumbs, nearly let my balance invoice expire! Didn’t even realise it came through. The heads may suck but I still don’t want to miss out on Biff. There may be head replacement options someday and the outfits and body are nothing to be scoffed at.
