Gundamit has the deluxe Nazgul for $624 shipped, cheapest I've seen so far. Anyone know how Gundamit is for shipping inart figures?

Dave's Professional Owl Drawing Process:

- Gather references of owls.

- Choose the best looking owl after hours of searching.

- Draw the owl.

- Profit?
The biggest takeaway is that it takes up to 8 months, plus the usual wait for 1/6 figures, so maybe people can stop moaning about the wait times (which haven’t even been that bad) :lol.

Statement from InArt on Facebook. Not sure this really makes sense.

For example, Legolas is more expensive than Aragorn and Batman, yet Aragorn and Batman both comes with many more accessories. So if Legolas is on a lower tier than those figures, why is it more expensive?

Also nobody knows what the **** Argentum and Rhodium are, if you need to have a tier system just go with the classic Silver, Gold, Platinum or something.
𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐓'𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝!

We’ve heard from collectors curious about the meaning behind our collectible grade icons, so we’ve created an infographic that briefly explains them, and wanted to take this opportunity to go into more detail as well.

Our three current grades are named after various elements: Argentum, Platinum and Rhodium.

Argentum is our standard grade, where we offer our highly detailed collectibles with a standard selection of accessories.

Platinum is our second grade, where we incorporate more elaborate dioramas in figures such as our Dark Knight Joker and Batman (2022). This grade goes the extra mile for those who love the characters to make them stand out in a collection.

Rhodium is our highest grade, where we strive to create the definitive prestige collectible, with a wide variety of head sculpts, dioramas, and clothing sets, leaving no stone unturned in our quest to do so. Our Joker (2019) figure is an example of what we aim to achieve when all stops are pulled.

Have more questions about these grades? Drop them in the comments!

This is such messy marketing. 1) it doesn’t even make sense or correlate to the pricing and 2) using random elements is confusing. Not everyone knows Rhodium is one of the rarest metals on earth and I wouldn’t be surprised if most people assume Platinum would be the highest tier. Also Argentum is literally silver.

On top of all of that, putting your products into tiers is just going to piss everybody off and it’s 100% unnecessary. How does this serve them in any way? People are just going to order the lines that they want for their collection.

My undergrad marketing professor is crying somewhere right now.

I also don’t recall seeing these tiers listed anywhere on the product pages.

If they’re going to have tiers they need to be priced accordingly. You can’t be selling a lower tier figure for higher price than figures in the tier above.

If these were priced like Hot Toys figures, I would be much less annoyed by all of this. But announcing that Legolas is going to be a low tier figure in their eyes, when it's more expensive than Aragorn and Gandalf, is pretty terrible since they're already showing they aren't putting as much effort into it. Not a lot of accessories and incorrect parts of the costume. You just know this figure is going to have even worse quality control problems than the other two LOTR figures combined.

Unless this is a new format for them, and $500 for the lower tiered figure is now the starting point. But it's also hard to gauge because they left Aragorn, Gandalf and the Ledger Joker off that graphic. And where does that leave the sculpted hair versions? Surely if they release Snape and Boromir and whoever else they'll do a sculpted hair version, what tier do this fall into?

This is just nonsense from InArt.

If they left 'no stone unturned' with their 2019 Joker, he'd have come with a battle damaged red jacket and 'blood smile' sculpt for a post Murray Show look.

As far as I can tell, the tiers purely relate to how many accessories come with a figure/ how large a set it is.

No diorama, second head sculpt, or large companion piece (bat-signal or a small vehicle) then you go in the standard tier, Argentum. This doesn't mean the figure will be cheaper since that all appears to be determined by the size and complexities of the character or materials used.

This also means there is no relation to quality in this system, only quantity.

Essentially, it's meaningless.

Even more meaningless when you consider that there's the deluxe Nazgûl with Steed pictured in the Argentum/standard tier despite including a massive diorama piece...

I don't think second headsculpts play into it, because the deluxe Cavill Superman is Argentum and comes with two heads.

The deluxe Harry Potter also has the Argentum logo on the box, despite having a sizeable diorama piece.

Both the standard and all-in versions of Battinson have the Platinum logo, despite the standard being a straightforward unrooted figure and having no diorama piece. It's almost like printing different box designs for the different versions would have been overly convoluted and prohibitively expensive...

Between this and Prime 1's recent announcement that their Real Elite Masterline will feature stricter QC, there's never been a better time to invest in popcorn.

I just consider that a base that’s suitably sized to the thing standing on it.

But yeah, ultimately this all means nothing.
