The costumer support is indeed excellent. We can make comparisons and debate value for money until we’re all blue in the face (ain’t it fun!) but everyone who invested in this project was treated fairly and its existence means more choices, more competition, and ultimately better products. We’ve...

Personally I prefer the “flat” look of the Hot Toys as that’s a closer representation of what the 89 (and 92) was. The lack of weathering does give it a “plasticky” look though. I was pleased to see the newly announced Hot Toys Batmissle has a much more realistic paint job with subtle...

I wasn't planning on watching this whole video but it's oddly satisfying!

I also have the Pure Arts 89 cowl and it's fantastic. If you pass on the Jazz Batmobile, another companion piece worth your consideration is the Paragon FX grappling gun made from aluminum. It's a fun tangible experience and you really feel like Batman when you pick it up and handle it. :LOL...

The Hot Toys Batmobile is painted.

Thank you for posting these pictures and for your honest assessment. Regarding the paint: It wouldn't hurt to reach out and ask. While returns, especial one this big, can be an inconvenience, it may be worthwhile if Jazz determines the paint on yours is not up to their standards. I'm glad to...

It’s gotta be the dimples, right? I mean, we already know the earth is flat… science has proven it. Just google “Joe Rogan Batmobile”. You’ll find your answers.

As I said, “Assuming 19 feet 6 inches is correct”………… It’s the Death of Literacy, I tell ye. 😉

According to the official Making Of book, the 89 Batmobile is 19ft 6 inches which is 234 inches total. Assuming 19 feet 6 inches is correct, 234 divided by 6 would be 39 inches in length for a true 1/6 scale...which is the length of the Hot Toys version, whereas the Jazz is 43. I think the...

I’ve see that video. Dunham confirms it was a third stand in car made specifically for Returns, so not the 89 hero. He also states there were only two cars made for 89. I’m not sure if that’s accurate or not. Dunham’s stand in car lacks several details the hero cars had such as the mesh and...

Yes, he acknowledged that on the Facebook page. Surprisingly, no one caught it. *And interestingly the Hot Toys prototype from years ago did have the guns in the correct positions but not for the released version. It makes me think Warner Bros. made them change it for whatever reason.

The Tested video reaffirmed my decision to cancel but it sounds like you have the right expectations and I hope you get lots of enjoyment out of yours. There’s no denying it’s a unique and limited piece. Thankfully for me, meatballs are not on the menu today. 😉

I’ve always been curious: Do we know whatever became of the 89 hero car? Was it for sure one of the cars repainted and used for Returns? The Returns seats (specifically the head rests) are different from the 89, but maybe they were replaced or the 89 hero was only used for exterior shots? I know...

Not to beat a dead horse, but it seems every generation is defined by tragedy…where were all of you when the news of “Dent Gate” broke? I was in my car…the “girl” was questionable, the song was “Night Moves”…which was interrupted when the news came over the radio…and I knew the world would never...

This is a forum for discussion, no? If you don't want to engage in the discussion no one is forcing you to. Not everyone keeps up with this thread. We just had a member inquire about the full refund and were able to provide some guidance. (y)

Yes, but you have to email Jazz and request the cancellation before shipment. All of my payments were refunded as separate transactions and were processed quickly. While the final product wasn’t for me, no complaints with their customer service. 👍

Then let’s see a prototype that reflects the capable quality of the manufactured product - dents, orange peel and all. If you promise customers filet mignon, charge them for filet mignon, but then serve them McDonald’s, yeah people are going to complain and rightfully so.
