Pasting this from the collectibles thread because I didn't know this thread existed.

Watched the first 2 episodes and I'm really enjoying the show thus far. I adore how much care they've put into the universe and making sure everything is right. The storytelling is well done and all of the characters are pretty good, my least favorite so far is Maximus, he is pretty unlikeable, but its probably intentional, I look forward to watching more tomorrow.

I need a figure of this guy,

Maximus is definitely a little mentally unhinged. He’s not all there. He for sure put that blade in the boot.

Agreed, just watched the next 2 episodes, still going amazingly.
while not being very prominent in these next 2 episodes, Maximus got some slight character development and im coming arounf to him for sure. The Ghoul is ******* sick, loving the flashback scenes so far, is he the vault boy inspiration?? Lucy is also great, her dynamic with The Ghoul is pretty cool and I love how hard the wasteland is treating her.

One more thing, the other ghouls looked amazing, especially that first one we saw who was on the verge of becoming feral, he looked straight out of the games. I don't think they got the movement down though, seeing the feral ghouls for the first time in 4 with their new movement system was some serious scary ****, I they just kinda ran normally in the show.

I watched the first seven episodes yesterday. On the whole it's very good and captures the feel of the world... apart from the constant sense of danger.

In the games (I only played Fallout 3 and New Vegas), when you first emerge from the vault in 3 as a weak character there's deadly threat everywhere. It doesn't let up until you find a safe space or a decent weapon. It's the best part, as later on you become pretty much godlike when faced with most enemies. The first time I played I got chased round the perimeter of Megaton by a mole rat!

However, while the games are a series of battles, that would get repetitive in a TV series, so they're reduced the number of enemies and therefore the continual threat.

One thing the series captures is the mystery surrounding the fate of vaults, that you get to solve by picking up clues as you explore them.

They also introduced karma with the three main characters: Lucy - Good; Maximus - Neutral; Cooper - Evil.

Just the final episode to watch, and I'm already wanting season two.

Me too, the Ghoul has my number and yours too.

Someone out there in the 1.6 world needs to create a licensed figure of the Ghoul.

Gimme the Ghoul.
