I had been wondering about all those comicave Iron Man figures on ebay that haven’t seen an official release. I guess the factories making them decided to release them early to make some money and didn’t have approval from Comicave. I don’t think they are fake, more like “unauthorized releases”.

Something seemed fishy about that announcement, and there are more and more people corroborating the story below. The "GENUINE PRODUCT" hologram sticker is the exact same sticker that has been on past releases. Just now Comicave is saying the sticker will now say "LICENSED PRODUCT" and include a COA. The whole thing is pretty ridiculous. How are they gonna come out 5 months after these figures have been in the market and let people know.

I know, they say its fake but for 6 months watched without saying a word and then now they say its counterfeit. ********!
It's either, they didn't say anything before, because they still thought they might have to use the same company again so daren't say anything, even though that manufacturer went ahead and sold it due to wanting their money.
Or, they have been selling this under the radar before they were granted the license to do so, and now they are just covering their asses.

Either way a lot of people have been ****ed over because of this stupid company. Seriously someone should say something to Marvel, it's seriously dodgy.

I would say the latter is true. I think they lost the license in 2018 and were in the process of renegotiating while having the factory begin production. Then used those "unauthorized" sales to help pay for the license.

It sounds like the right answer to me. I mean there are official distributors supplying this not some dodgy back street sellers.

Mark 7 arrived unexpectedly today! I preordered last July on eBay, then forgot to cancel when it didn’t show...figured it was never going to happen.

I know many have written Comicave off but this is a great figure. Arm sockets extend and just great articulation all around with nice tight joints. The head is the one area that’s limited.
