They may have adjusted the pose, but it looks like he's still leaning forward somewhat...
... and he definitely still isn't hunching instead, which was one of Ledger's Joker's more reconigzable traits.
I don't understand. How come they can nail the costume and head sculpt but still keep falling short on such a simple thing as the pose?
Also, yeah, what's with him apparently looking up now? That'd be OK if were hunching, I guess, but he's not.
I don't know, I want to be in love with this piece so I can gladly spend the huge amount they'll be asking for it, but they're not making it easy for me. While he looks good enough from a front angle, I still get this lifeless mannequin vibe when I look at him from the side. :\

Detail is incredible. Everything else is very bland and life-less, imo.
Kira just stated the whole pose will be scrapped for something completely new, so it looks like this won't go up for PO for quite some time. I hope they tweak the sculpt a little bit too while they're at it. Might as well go for perfection.

He looked a little better in october, but that might be the lighting or that backdrop, don't think he needs one... also, i liked the lean into you/ spinturn pose... gun looks great, but is at a weird angle... just hope they don't make him shouty/loud...

The lighting in the photos above are probably the worst you can have on a sculpt. The typical 'lightsource coming from below the face' can make any sculpt look off. I'm glad they're listening to the community though. Don't really see a lot of companies willing to change the entire body and pose based off of feedback.

Agreed, IMO this actually looks worse than the first one, where the only problem with that was the dull blank expression. But this looks like he is stoned or something like many have said.
BTW I am surprized you are posting here JAWS, I thought you were only interested in the Sideshow PF.
Well that's good news, looks like Shoo's comments must of had an impact.
That can be risky, but I agree that they should tweak it just a little bit, so it looks similar to Adam's grail one below.
Even though that expression is still rather neutral, it still captures Heath as Joker to a certain level.
The hair is the least of the problems with this statue.

Well Adam Gu did sculpt it . They do need to work on the Eyes and the Eye Make up . I was personally fine with the pose maybe a swap out arm for a grenade rig would be pretty sweet . Also the portrait has not changed from the first teased photos it's the same one just horrible horrible lighting.

Yeah but his 1/6th grail one looks a hell of a lot better and that is at least a few years old now.
I thought the pose was ok and passable but it totally lacks the iconic slouch Shoo mentioned, so I am glad they are fixing it.
Also the angles, to, which would explain why it looks way different here, he even looks like he has a slight smirk.
BTW I didn't think the sculpt had changed, I thought the paint job had changed, because the eyes looked different to how they looked in first teaser pics.

According to the main distributor nothing about the portrait has changed not even the paint. P1 really needs to have a professional photographer at their events to take photos of their product. I'm glad they're taking the time to fix everything to make it the perfect statue because this is Grail status for a lot of collectors and for the money it better be immaculate.

Or close to it, but TBF we still don't know the price of this yet, we are only speculating this will cost thousands.

Kira on Statue forum hinted around 2,000 or less . He is also 40" tall with base .

happy with the original pose and thought they just needed to adjust the bend a little. Hopefully Prime leaves the funny looking Joker poses to Sideshow
I have been pretty impressed with all the Prime 1 protos and final figures and I think at the moment, they are the best...even better than Hot toys, sideshow, etc.
I'm made a comment in another thread that their stuff looks more like smaller scale Madam Tussaud's figures.
But I have to say, its weird that I think the weakest out of all the stuff they've shown is this Heath Joker. Specially since Adam scupted this. So for me personally, this should have been the best thing I've seen out of all their stuff.
The problem is that in every pic, the expression looks like Heath's bored.
