The first Alien was taller, that's about it. The heads where the same size. This kit is Just under 24" tall and the CM is 30+. I can tell they aren't the same scale. Everything is larger on the CM. I think the sculptor was basing his scale on what CM's site said their Alien's height was. For some reason they say it's 24" but, it's more like 32". About the same height as their Predator.

Yeah, that is DEFINITELY 1/4 scale, not 1/3. Your probably right about him using the CM listed dimensions. But I would have thought he would have at least used some math of his own.
