Having once owned a 1/4 scale Batman begins Enterbay figure, I can see why you would say they are too toy like, since I felt like I was holding nothing but a giant doll in my hand, so I sold it amongst other reasons.

However, here is the thing, while 1/4 scale figures may feel like giant toy dolls for kids, they are in fact ironically more impressive to look at because most I have seen from Enterbay are more accurate and realistic than anything from Hot Toys. Have you seen the Enterbay battle damaged T2 sculpt? It is so life like and better than anything Hot Toys as produced IMO.

So if you can get over the fact that it is a big toy and just appreciate the art behind it, you are getting a piece that is truly remarkable and much more realistic than any 1/6th scale figure that has been mass produced IMO.

Oh BTW I am not lecturing just giving my opinion because I can still not get over the fact that 1/4 scale figures still feel too toy like to me, despite the fact that the head sculpts are actually more realistic and less toy like and thus, more impressive to look at. Kind of a paradox when you think about it... hmmm.

This ....is very weird :rotfl

I agree in todos,1/4 scale are maybe more realistic, better paint app..
but they look giant toys...I didn't feel good when I tried to pose them, not the same feeling of the 1/6 scale..
never 1/4 scale for me...I take my decision when I have sold my doll rambo...

1/6 scale are bigger than average toys.
1/4 scale are giant toys.

To say 1/6 scale looks less like a toy because it ...what? ....is closer to standard toy size? ....is just bizarre.

a toy is a toy.these 1/6-1/4 figures are just that. high end collectables mainly for displaying. (well mine are anyway)

When I tried to pose my old 1/4 rambo and when I changed the pose (not very often) of my eddie or my 1/4 alien neca the feeling was completely different, is difficult to explain but I felt like a child with his big toy..
(sorry for the misunderstand :monkey3 )
with the 1/6 scale is completely different..because the scale you have to pay more attention for the details, precision of the pose and the accessories..and for the most do not broke anything..
these are not toys... not suitable for children...
and for me is better an accurate attention for the details and quality in a tiny piece than a perfect and easy doable quality in a big thing..

I know I'd already caved and ordered anyway but those pics just sold me 100% on this figure.

This is not only the best looking Lee figure ever, its way more poseable than I was expecting.

Thanks Desisandy :D

I wanted the gif to seem continuous. So I didn't include any single nunchuck pics :D

Yeah, if I hadn't already pre ordered, those 'in hand' pics might have done the trick. Nice work by Max was it? :hi5:
