not trying to argue, but I prefer big figures more than statue.

Same. But its for the same reason i like 1/6 figures. I don't "play" with these things. I pose them, and then leave them as something to admire from a far. 1/6 are "ok" in that regard, but 1/4 is far more impressive looking. And the benefit of them being figures. I can repose. For anyone who sees them, they could well be statues, and better painted/sculpted ones at that, but i know, if i grow bored of a pose, i can tweek it. Don't like the joker with the coat on...i can take it off for a completely different, but no less impressive look.

What i generally don't like about statues, and the reason i got out of that area of colectibles, is that they often have elements that SHOULD be fabric, but are in fact sculpted. They just typically don't have the paint aps to convay such a thing, so it ends up cheapening the entire thing. When a pair of trousers ends up looking like shiny plastic...something aint right.

Either way, they are amazing. The more shots that come out the more its clear this is the best Lee figure ever.

I think Lee collectors who are sitting this one out due to price may regret their decision.

Now this pic is so much better than the on I showed as it is not too bright and doesn't show up the so call freckles everyone has been talking about. I can see a very good likeness here.

I agree and that is what I said they are more impressive looking due to their size and of course how life like they are. Enterbay's 1.4 scale figures are more realistic than any of Hot Toys figures IMO.

I agree they look more like statues when posed correctly, but for me I find them more difficult to pose than 1/6th figures but maybe it is the type of the figure, apart from Rory's I have yet to see a Joker figure put into a realistic pose. I can pick up a 1/6th figure and I can make a realistic pose within seconds, but 1/4 scale ones I find so much harder based on my experience.

I am referring to Arnie Kim's handmade Bruce Lee figures. I have a few of Arnie Kim's handmade figures and they are better than this. I am not going to derail this thread by showing them.

Considering that is a 2003 figure, I think it's quite good.
but thankfully the current EB figure is a lot better I think

No problem, yeah there are things I like about the EB figure better to but I still think overall the 2003 one is better but that is just my opinion.

Those are great custom figures by Arnie but I don't think they are better sculpts than this one. Just my opinion.

Congrats on owning some one of a kind Arnie Kim pieces though. That is freaking awesome!
