Or some kind of run of Custom Newt head run? I heard Ada was doing them from another member a ways back but everyone should be aware they may NOT work with the Sov bodies Shawn is using, or the neck he developed for this figure.

In fact it may not be compatible at all with this Sov Custom.

Just throwing it out there... as Shawn is doing his Newt run very soon.

Apparently it is a secret commission WST was involved with Ada. And he's been PMing a few guys here on SSF, so no secret thread, secret commission but my point is still it won't work with this Custom neck type Shawn developed for our Newt.

Shawn, just so you know, I'm still in for the full NEWT. I got your PM. I'm just having a hell of a time with preorders lately coming due. Especially now with Joker and Batman that I just had to pay for.

So please keep my place and bear with me. I do want my Newt from you. Just need a check to come in instead of going out.

Well, I've just paid for my Newt (sculpted hair for me, thanks). I think some of the apparent drop off in interest in this project is due the thread being moved to the custom forum. It's caused it to drop off of the radar of people who don't visit the customs forum regularly. But we also need to see some in-hand pics and the like. Come on guys, we're so close to the finish line. We don't want to stumble now!

I think Shawn said he's doing his Newt run this week, but some of you guys have to confirm your preferred hair style with him...

Some have changed 2 or 3 times so I think he needs to hear your FINAL DECISION.

I guess he can build up the bodies and outfits but many have changed preferences, so make sure you PM him and confirm what you want...

Yes, the thread definitely needs some in-hand photos. Les currently has pjam's figure; he's doing the paint. Pjam thinks I suck! Les emailed me a a little earlier tonight to say he'll have her done in a couple days and will post pics. And, yes, I've asked him to replicate the famous "piggyback" pose I'm sure his photos and paintwork will be great!!

Well I had paid for one complete figure with rooted hair, have also paid for a sculpted head only....best of both worlds.......I will be doing some piggy back photos as well when I receive....with a special twist

About the paint comment. Seriously, Shawn knows Les paints all my Aliens Figs and that I wanted to keep the line consistent.

Has anyone seen Shawn's painted Ras al Ghul? Absolutely superb! And noted!

I'm still in Shawn for your new "molded or cast" hair version of Newt. I started out wanting the kit, but now with my eBay account cancelled, and I can't buy a cheap male nude Mego body on eBay....I'll have to go with the complete figure with the body. So, I want to get the new molded/cast hair Newt full figure from you.

I'm starting a new second job Monday. So hopefully I'll be able to pay you soon Shawn. I will send you a PM after I've sent payment to you. I think we've already talked about this in a PM, but I just wanted to be sure you knew my final choice. Thanks again! - Mike Buckley

I'm sure Shawn still has the details of my order, but I went for the same thing as tigerfeet, and opted for both heads for mine, although in an unfinished kit form. I'm really looking forward to blending her in with the rest of my squad of USCMs, as well as with Rips.

I expect at least couple of pages of pics of just Ripley and Newt doing their thing... perfectly okay by me, but I do think we also need some pics of Newt with the marines, both at ease and in action. Being able to add Newt to the cast of human characters adds some interesting options in terms of shooting pics of them together. I'm really looking forward to seeing what people come up with once a few more of us have our Newts. In the meantime, I'm just trying to be as patient as I possibly can until my own Newt arrives...
