I'd really like the extra head from the EX, but it's saying $25 shipping for me. Reg at $134 shipped from BBTS vs EX at $170 shipped from Mondo. Not sure the head and grave stone are worth $36 to me.

Love the steaming head, gravestone, and frozen batarang. Think I'm going to have to buy this figure. He's pretty much perfect. Even better than Batman.

I have to say the Mondo Batman didn’t impress me much but this Mr. Freeze I like a lot. I’d almost be tempted to go with the exclusive. Really like the Nora tombstone with the snow as well as the broke dome and sculpt without the goggles. Gah, I was hoping to avoid these but they may have roped me in.

I'm still trying to avoid the line lol, if they show a great Joker I'll probably dive in. The exclusive thing annoys me even though so many do it. It'd be one thing if it was only $15 more, but it seems like _every_ place that you buy direct from has expensive shipping.

Crap...I am so behind the curve on this new line. I regrettably made a quick conclusion that this scale would look horrible after seeing the regular Batman figure. But then the exclusive with the wind swept cape which I missed out on made me eat my words along with the Hardac half face
After collecting all the DCC figures, I was also reluctant to make room for this new line but Mr. Freeze exclusive changed my mind. As I always seek the better quality figure no matter the scale, I decided to start collecting the line. Bring it, Mondo! You just made a new customer!!

Thanks for posting the link, I just ordered the exclusive as well. I will say, I think you'll regret not buying the exclusive as it will sell out. I paid quite a bit more for the Batman exclusive then what BBTS offered the regular edition for and didn't regret it one bit.

Also, I got a couple of the BTAS albums from Mondo and they also charge obscene amounts for shipping even records. But when you see HOW they pack their items you get where that extra shipping costs comes in .

I'll wait for SSC, get some points on the purchase. I'll buy Freeze immediately but I'm hesitant to really go all in right off the bat. The Mondo Turtles can be found for under $100 fairly easily, might wait on a couple like Batman or the eventual Joker who will be overbought by retailers and see if I can snag a deal on those.

One thing that I still dislike about these Mondo figures is the way that they paint them to look cel shaded. I get what they’re going for but it doesn’t really look that great on figures if you ask me. I don’t mind it on Freeze as much as I did on Batman but I’d still prefer it to not be that way.

With the Rogue's Gallery Batman has, especially how well they did it on BTAS hard to go wrong with any character!

That Mr Freeze looks very cool, err, so to speak. Practically a perfect translation.

But as I'm not a fan of the Batman figure (thankfully), that means I'll just have to admire most of these from afar, and maybe just pick up a couple of favourite characters, providing they get made and turn out as good as Freeze has.

Yeah, I’m not sure if I like the Batman enough to commit to the line either. If these were painted just normally I’d like them a lot better I feel.

The cel shading looks so much better on a human face than it does on a big bulky body. That “Victor” head looks incredible. I think the Batman figure would’ve benefited from including a Bruce Wayne sculpt to show it off since he’s a pretty ugly release as-is.

After Freeze I’m excited to see how it looks on Joker, especially if it’s that dramatic. I'd love to see them try their hand at this head, complete with cartoony shading.
