I agree that the black variant is still the best, but had to get the redux because of the head sculpts it includes since I missed out on the original exclusive version. My shipment got pushed back twice, originally to be delivered today, then Saturday, and now Monday. Damn USPS.

I wish Mondo included the windswept cape from the EX with the Redux.

Sadly I see in the last pic, their waistline is almost at the same height, but the arms length are very different!
If it's indeed short like that, it will be inaccurate for Bruce Timm proportion:

As you can see, his Batman has long arms, which I think is part of his aesthetic.
In the later versions as well:

On the first pic, you can see that he's just a bit taller than Victor, but his arms are very short compared to Victor's. I think Victor's arms has the right Bruce Timm proportion.
I think Mondo should extend the shoulder joints. That would made a whole lot of difference.
Other than that I think this one is solid.

I would have to believe Joker (whom I have on order) will be shorter than Freeze.

Mondo better makes sure of that. Basing on the photos from SDCC, the Joker proto seems taller than this updated Batman. The Joker has its knees slightly bent on that display and straightening those will definitely make the difference obvious.

Your Eaglemoss Batman statue is at the right height.

Batman's ears are just over that top line

Freeze is just below it and Joker a little moreso, but they're also not standing straight. Seems clear to me that if they were, they would both be taller than Batman.

I don't think you can use the series style guide as the accurate height chart, because as you can see, aside from the random gesture/pose choice (Mondo's chart is better because they're all standing straight), but the perspective level is also different.

We can see Bruce Wayne and Robin standing straight with the same angle/front view, but somehow Wayne's feet is elevated and Robin's feet is sunken lower. If they are using the same perspective level, the feet should be at the same ground level. And Batman on the left side also has different ground angle with Wayne and Robin.

I believe DC approved Mondo's concept chart (usually they approved the concept first before moving into actual production), so the height level in that Mondo concept art is supposed to be accurate.

Agreed.
The shipper was in poor shape with the side of the box crushed in a bit as well. A sturdier shipper would have prevented that.
I believe this was my first Mondo figure that came with a damaged box.
At least they used the protective plastic corners for the box which protected the corners of the box.

Those thick nasolabial llines on his face look bad to me. In the show it's just a really thin line, but still would have preferred without them.

I picked up the McFarlane DC Direct Catwoman statue to go with the Mondo Batman since I was never a fan of Mondo's Catwoman.

Now I can't decide if I like her better with Mondo's figure or the Eaglemoss statue.

Her base does fit on top of the Eaglemoss base but I would need to put something under her's in front for piece of mind:

Catwoman looks great with the Eaglemoss statue. Until I got the mondo catwoman, I thought I’d hate it. Didn’t like how it looked in pictures or the reviews. In hand, I changed my mind. I really like it. I’ve been contemplating on getting that statue, though as well.

I just have never been overly impressed with these Mondo Batman figures unfortunately. Love the show but the figures just come off as larger, overpriced toys. The Eaglemoss statues look nicer.

I agree.
Somehow the eaglemoss statue captured Bruce Timm's Batman better than Mondo.

The airbrushed shading part on the eaglemoss statue is really good! I think it can be a better way for Mondo to emulate the animated style instead of doing those harsh lines on Batman's ab area.

Yeah, as much as I get what they’re going for I’m not a fan of the shading effect on the Mondo figures. It looks goofy and overdone.
