Hope you like them!

Just had a look and it seems like for the regular versions of the figures all of them are still available from Mondo (except Joker who is showing as a Jan 2025 release on EE) except for Mr Freeze

However he and the Timed/Exclusive editions do still show up on eBay etc (that's how I managed to get my Mr. Freeze) so be sure to check there as well :)

Yeah, I'm trying to decide who I want with what space. I pre ordered Scarecrow and I want clayface too. I do need to find a Mr freeze, I may get the black and white version because it's not far off from the normal paint and comes with timed accessories. He's the only one who's timed accessories I want so far.

I love them! Great shelf presence. I hate the paint, it's the weak kid thats soft so your nail can easily damage it, but I can also find the right colors to repair it since it's so flat. But I can't stop looking at them.

Looking very cool!

I would say if you want Harley not to hang around as shes "Almost Gone" on Mondo's site and neither BBTS or EE have her in stock (EE has her on back order) - unless you want to try and get the Timed Edition which includes Bud and Lou :)

Agreed Freeze definitely has some cool accessories (its a shame they didn't include the chicken soup thermos in the Redux Batman figure!)

Agreed on the paint, you definitely have to be careful with the figures to avoid damage/paint rub and sometimes the QC can be a bit off, but IMO if you treat these more like statues that have some movement and not hyper-poseable action figures like Mafex or SH Figuarts then they are great :)

I want the animated Harley but I'm not sold Joker, so I'm trying to find the justification to make the commitment haha

Joker is also one of the best figures from the line up imo.

They really need to redo the early figures like Batman, Catwoman and Mr Freeze. Their new sculptor would do them justice.

Oh I want him so bad, absolutely great.

Definitely want some re-releases to happen.

It's a space factor. As I know I want Clay Face, and I know they have to do two face eventually.
You can buy Joker or Harley and pretend it is actually Clayface in disguise..

I agree on Batman and Catwoman, but I feel like Freeze should only be remade from an accessibility perspective/maybe with added durability of materials involved because that was the figure that sold me on this line before I was even fully on board for Batman. I still feel like, sculpt and paint wise, he holds up completely and is the undisputed star of that OG line-up, IMO.

Sculpt-wise, I think Freeze is good.
Paint wise, I think whoever does the cell shade on recent Mondo figures should do his work on Freeze.

Sometimes I’m all onboard with this line then sometimes I’m looking to get out of it, it’s weird. I have Joker and Catwoman and I’m not super impressed with either, I have Bane and Ivy on preorder and I bought the exclusive Scarecrow since the character is one of my favorite villains. I refuse to spend the kind of money Freeze is getting on eBay and I have yet to make a move on Harley since I can’t decide if I’m going to continue or not. Clayface looks great, I imagine TwoFace will be amazing and I’d love to see a Riddler. I guess my biggest hesitation with these figures is that I just don’t think they are worth what Mondo is charging. These are basic action figures blown up to 1/6 scale, it’s not like they have intricate soft goods or realistic likenesses and the paintwork is REALLY subpar so why the $200+ pricetag? Is it simply because we’ll pay it? They ARE heavy I’ll give them that but there should be more than just weight to give them a sense of value.

I used to feel this way as somebody who collected the DC Direct stuff, but then I started thinking how Mondo makes up for it in other ways. Would I have loved these if they were full-fledged, mixed media 1/6th scale figures? Yeah, but, at the same time, I know damn well we wouldn’t be getting four or five different heads and nearly as many accessories. I feel like there’s a really weird disconnect, because, in my brain, I think of these figures as toys. They’re sturdy, there’s tons of “play” potential with all the options and they’ve honestly surpassed the DC Direct line for me, I think, to the point where I’m considering selling off my re-releases and getting out of it for good.

There are areas where smaller is better. I don’t think I’d ever need to spend $200 on a Mondo Condiment King, for instance, but I really like how this line has developed and it has infinitely exceeded my original expectations of it. It seems like only a few years ago, we had a two year turnaround time between figures and we felt we’d be lucky if we ever saw that original line-up by the time we croaked. Now, we get two to four figures up for order within a year and the turnaround time is actually really decent. Like, comparative to Hot Toys or InArt or half the third party companies I have **** on order from, I feel like Mondo have really hit their stride in terms of churning this **** out.

If they could just hone in on effective QC and making sure the products are stable and tough enough to withstand all the posing and accessorizing they’re designed for, I would have zero qualms calling it one of my favorite toy lines out there at the moment. I do agree and think they charge too much, on the whole, but I also think that applies to pretty much every facet of this industry. All this **** probably costs 75 bucks to make in China, but they know their market and it’s nerds with expendable income, so, they figure “**** it” and I feel like that’s pretty much across the board for all these companies.

I agree.

And they have wonderful CS. They always communicative and send replacements.
Their latest reveal, Clayface is fantastic. And their latest release, Lion-O is a great figure!

Yeah, they bring the heat on everything they touch, seemingly. He-Man predated me a bit, but those figures look awesome. I used to watch Thundercats in syndication while waiting for Batman to start on Toonami, but it never meshed well enough for me to want the toys, but, again, they look great. They almost got me on the Real Ghostbusters, but I just couldn’t justify it with so much other **** coming out. I’m eager to see what follows Clayface, reveal wise, and even more eager to see these figures start actually releasing.

I watched those cartoons too when I was a kid.
And I bought the toys. The Thundercats by LJN toy, X-Men by toybiz, Kenner's Batman animated series and Ghostbusters, He-Man by Mattel, TMNT by Playmates, etc.
So Mondo is like a nostalgia ride for me.

He-Man with Battle Cat, Lion-O, Gambit, and Clayface animated.. those are must-haves for me because those are the figures that I have when I was a kid.
I have to skip Venkman because it's 1/12, and Mondo teased a 1/6 TMNT Mondo version (unlike their first "comic"-ish version) so I know I gotta save my wallet for those!

The feeling when I open those figures, it's taking me way back to the childhood era. But this time, it's an adjusted figure (both in scale, sculpt and accessories) for the older me.

So what are you're guys predictions for this upcoming year? I think we see a Bruce Wayne with Ace to go with Batman Beyond. We get a BTAS Two-Face and Robin. Finally a STAS Superman. Curious what you guys think.
