I know i was going to cut off about 3mm of neck later not sure what the best tool to use though

Had the same issue. This is what Maglor suggested:


"It is possible to futz a suit coat to fit higher on a neck, but not sure you will be able to do anything like that with the bat costume. You could try posing the shoulders higher - that might help a little. If that doesn't do it, I would use an emery board to file the neck shorter:

Set the emery board (or sandpaper) on a flat surface, take the head (without the adapter) and while holding the head neck-down, rub the bottom flat part (where the adapter attaches) back and forth on it.

I've used this technique for shortening "with-neck" head-sculpts before."

Really easy one this one ...................
A cian christian bale headsculpt with a little repaint
Subway body and added some hot toys hands
Made the gold watch myself
Got the suit / shirt / tie from rarefigure toys in hong kong needed to be
took apart and re-altered (which was a pain)
Dragon shoes repainted
Hot toys stand
A very easy one for me really
Just starting on my jim gordon now

Sounds a bit difficult, but I'll take your word. Agree on the altering thing. Never could get anything right. Messed up a lot of stuff in the name of alteration and 'making it look better'.
