You really did do a terrific job! I can see you put in a lot of hard work, and I admire an an artist who puts in all of his effort into one piece, like I can tell you have!
Honestly, it really is a great piece, although the recent painted pics, remind me more of Chris Cooper than Daniel Craig:

I'm glad you like it! Everyone's starting to get their's also and they feedback has been awesome

My very next HS is a Toshihiro Mifune from "Seven Samarai" (end of March). Then shortly after that will be a Stallone Dredd with removable helmet.

After those will be the BIG ONE - a 300- King Leonidas resin kit - with a 1/6 HS from it.

Got the head today Tin....looks great. Now I just need to attach it to a body and get him dressed to kill. Great sculpt!! Too bad the pics didn't turn out.

Hey Tin, where's those new pics?

I know the lighting on those shots isn't the best but his face looks too glossy and the hair is too dark. I would suggest lighter highlights for his hair and some shading on the facial features.

Got the sculpt. I did some extensive sanding to his temporal lobes which were pretty bulbous and emaciated his cheek bones a bit more and also to the eyelids, especially the left one which looked like he had just came from a boxing match with Rocky Balboa. It's a great sculpt, just needed to tone down a few exagerated spots but it looks like Craig. I can only hope that my painting skills can do your sculpt justice and can live up to my friend's expectations.

Awesome, Dave! I'm glad you received the HS.

I'm posting the newer pics taken using a better camera later tonight. The actual painted sculpt isn't anywhere near as shiny as it appears in the previous pics. Plus - I used some dull coat on him.

The forehead is a preference issue. You know I reduced it and added to it like 6 times LOL. Depending one who looks at it - it's either too broad or not broad enough. I figure if I make it slightly on the large side - then people can sand it down to how they want it. But if I make it too small - it'd be more trouble for them to add to it.

Post pics of yours painted up if it's no trouble. I'd like to see what others have done with the sculpt.

Yes. He's a bit too tanned for my taste, but the commissioner preferred him that way. I'm lightening him down a bit for the painted HS (among other things).
