I would advice EVERYONE against getting the signature edition.

If you love Tom, you will NOT get the signature edition. Doing so would require him to sign it and he may develop Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and you wouldn't want that on your conscience, would you?

The discussion about time zones almost caused me to wet myself with laughter...
I'm loving the photos on BC's site but I'm going to hold out for a version that has Tom's big toothy grin. It is looking better and better though, and I hope everyone gets what they want tomorrow (or was it today...?) and the edition sells out one second after everyone is happy.
I hope we see at least two more versions - Season 17 Tom with a big grin; Season 18 in the burgundy with the doom laden expression.

You know what would have been really amazing is if they had been able to include the grey tweed coat as well, or offer it as an extra piece you could order to go with it.

I hope it doesn't. With Asmus' LotR line, a Beach Boys box set, Yoda, and Vader plus the odd custom here and there, I am stretched as it is.

Yeah, if Tennent slips to December and Baker is February, I won't complain at all.
I hope it doesn't. With Asmus' LotR line, a Beach Boys box set, Yoda, and Vader plus the odd custom here and there, I am stretched as it is.

Standard Pre-order will commence 24 hours later on Saturday 13th July 2013.
What's the difference between the "Ltd. Edition" (released on Friday) and the "Standard" edition (Released on Saturday)?
If the "Ltd.s" are just numbered, then I'll hold out for the, hopefully cheaper, standard.
EDIT: DOH! Read the last few pages - sounds like The Saturday allotment are just what's left over, you snooze you loose!

Oddly I'm actually starting to have second thoughts on the Tom piece, the face sculpt just makes him look so desperately unhappy, and I already have a 1/6 scale statue I'm quite happy with of the Fourth Doctor.
Pah, who am I kidding. I'm too much of a hardcore Who fan to miss this, especially as I'll be collecting every other Doctor, I just can't help but wish they had gone with a slightly different expression.
