So here we are, 2nd try:
1st: You see the first (full) socks. The white cloth is some cloth that helps to fix the lyning while stitching. When you wash it, it magically disappears. Pretty awesome stuff.
2nd: This is my handstitched prototype.
3rd: The very first machine prototype. As you can see it did not survive. We didnt use a flexible stitch. This is quite alot of testing.
4th: The very last prototype. This one is already perfect. It has great stitching at the top and a very good lyning at the back. We need to make sure that the pattern perfectly meets at the corners. However this one will become a tube because I realized that it is not flexible enough for a full sock...
At the moment the first 4 pair are drying after their wash... They look pretty good. More pics to come over the evening. Now I have to go for lunch.

If we have counted correctly the full socks are finished now (30 pieces). Thats it for today. Will post some WIP pics later when battery of cam is full again. I will check those socks piece by piece and see if they are good. Otherwise they will be sorted out.

Allright guys. I am proud to announce this project is finally going to be released! All socks are done and ready to ship. Everybody who ever mentioned interest in this project will reveive a PM within the next hour.
JUST TO MAKE IT CLEAR: The interest list at the very first page is no order list. If you still want to order a pair or more, please answer to the PM. If you are still interested you will get all the information needed in that PM. If you are not getting a PM but are still interested please be so kind to send me a PM and I will come back to you. I will post here again when I have send out all the PMs so you can be sure I did not miss you. Here are the final pics of the product I can offer you. These socks were some I took randomly out of the basket.
The tubes will come cut a little longer than it is in the movie. Reason is simple: They look accurate this way on the HT shoes. You will have no problems cutting them to another length if/when we get better/more accurate shoes.
Full socks will look like this.
One last shot without flash for colour reference... Not the sharpest shot however...
