Finally arrived!
Actually it wasn't too bad this time. About 2 weeks.
You know it's from KG when you see the postage. At least he put another wrapper and put the postage there this time.
He put the postage on the box itself last time..

I guess it would have already been mentioned if someone had; but has anyone swapped out the body with a stormtrooper body or anything other than the Mando Scout?
I've just ordered possibly the last Mando Scout loose body on eBay but am now wondering if a stormtrooper would be an even better height fix.

For me the ROTJ Scout Trooper is one of the most evocative images from that time. I therefore kept this pre-order hoping it would still evoke something, and he does.

I put him on the same style of Sideshow base temporarily to compare the height. (Ignore the veteran Sideshow's right knee armour that rose up too high when I put his foot on the log):

The only thing off with him is the card base topper, which is not only a very cheap display solution, but the card has already curled up and won't lay flat.

use it, glue it to the base.

I'd rather not glue it. I could try weighing it down with a couple of the aquarium plants.
I thought that base card with grass printed on it was a sticker on itself, does anyone know if it is indeed? I didn't look closer as I thought it was such a cheap option from HT. They could have made a stand similar to the Sandtrooper or Snowtrooper, but they made a bland maroon base and a paper thing to cover it. So I decided to use the Sideshow Scout stand, so much better.

Take it from those of us who have been consigned to that little purgatory, and where the premium for escape is paying the boatman for the fare across the dark river of commerce, EvilBay, where one is plied by the dark waters to forget all sense in seeking grails of the collection.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Much appreciated.
Excellent environment as well, where do you live?
Unfortunately I don't live in quite as pretty of a place. I try to take a figure with me when I go camping in the central CA Sierras.

I have a trip planned at the end of April and will probably be bringing Din this time. Looking forward to seeing how the shininess reflects the environment. I will curse myself though if I end up losing that thermal detonator. Almost happened twice at home but thankfully I found it each time.

Oh I see.

Do you have the speeder? It owuld be cool to see it in a similar setting! If not, might be something next for grabs, your scout is lonely ;)

I'd be too stressed to even take any figure out of the appartment, would lose it if something got lost. Thanks for being brave!

Sierra Nevada... Looks nice. Also, the beer bearing same name is quite decent!
