Do you have the speeder?
Yes I do. I even brought it up with me. Even though I packed it well one of the front vanes detached and I didn't have any glue to fix it. I decided to leave it packed and not chance it any further.

These excursions have definitely taught me to bring hobby supplies and extra wrist pegs. A number of the shoretrooper pictures have a wrist splint, ie: electrical tape, from a broken peg.

I do have Mando's speeder and it is more robust so I'm contemplating bringing that with my next trip.

This is a stellar figure. I’m waiting for them to get a shipping discount and I’ll grab another single with rewards.

It's shipped via HK post airmail.
I noticed They printed the label and sat on it for 3-4 days. And also they are using the cheapest possible airmail.
BTW, all my other items shipped after this (from various countries including China/Hong Kong) arrived today while this is still sitting at HK.
I can say KG is just lazy at this point.

I hadn't ordered from KGH in a long while due to the amount of errors they'd made, and their lack of communication at times, but a DID figure being unexpectedly listed with free shipping drew me back.

I didn't expect it to be as smooth a process as OneSixthKit or Giantoy since the poor reports about them have been growing, both here and on Facebook.

First, there's a six day delay between confirming that the figure's in stock before printing the shipping label and issuing the tracking number. Then another two days so far with the tracking showing "Shipment Data Received" while the courier waits for KGH to hand over the parcel.

Even when they were prone to making mistakes they were pretty fast with their shipping process, so I don't know what's changed, and why they're so slow compared to other retailers in Hong Kong or China.

No doubt it'll arrive eventually, and I'll have saved $54-$64 over the competition to show for it, but it's not a company to choose if really want something in a hurry. :lol

When this was announced it was a must have for me, and I finally found one for a great price on Facebook
I’m over the moon. This set is what my childhood dreams are made of lol
Didn’t even attempt a riding pose, fat suit will be coming off this weekend

That's the pose I'm using on my Scout as well. I cannot display him on his bike on my shelf, but this relaxed pose looks even better than the one on top of his bike

Tackled the fat suit today
Chest armor was a little scary but relatively easy other than that
Decided not to remove the undersuit but just mod it for more range of motion
Works a charm and proportions are still good
Wasn’t that difficult to get into a natural looking riding pose, very happy with the result!

You have to go pretty drastic (a bit of dremeling etc) if you want that fully hunched flying position seen in the movie. It's surprsingly difficult to achieve.
This is very true. I still haven’t had the time or guts to mod my Scout yet. But here’s what’s achievable. This one from DR.37 is the best I’ve seen so far. Looks just like the “jockey pose” that the studio miniatures had. Absolutely stunning! Hope you don’t mind me reposting these DR.37

Congrats. It's one of those things that a SW fan must have. OT. Iconic Scene. Great Trooper design. Awesome vehicle. Checks all the boxes.
Congrats. I loved this design from the moment I first watched in RotJ back in 83. I’m really happy I bought it. Hope you are as satisfied as I am with it. He looks so unique in my view.

It really stands out in my display too 👍

Ordered one of these back when TW had those ridiculous cheap deals, it took ages but I emailed them asking for an update and got a tracking number a day later, then after a month it actually moved and arrived today. A long wait, but for what I paid I was happy in the end. So yeah if you ordered a sale one from TW go nudge them.

Someone, please supply our scout snipers with binoculars! Sandtrooper binos might work…

@ShootingtheGalaxy amazing picture! If only you could have it display as such permanently. Where is it taken?
They would work great. I bought the HT Tusken Raider binoculars (same but grey)... I picked up 2 actually. One for my Shoretrooper and one for this guy.

Thanks! I definitely need a pair of those. A local beach area. I've been looking for some new out door locations since I moved. Found some :D
